“Food is always delicious here and atmosphere is spot on. NY Eve at noon there was no wait to be seated. What can nearly ruin your meal here? Poor service, which is why I selected 4 stars instead of 5. On NY Eve, 3 of us went to Ipps for lunch. Short hair, blonde waitress showed up 20 mins after our seating; did not greet us but said something like “what can I get you?” Then… we waited nearly an hour for our meal. Not sure if it was a server problem or a kitchen problem, but certainly put the kabosh on the festive NY Eve lunch. Oy vey!“

I got a refund and reordered because I live near VB and have seen it a few times and wanted to try it. The order arrived and I was not disappointed in the least bit! I got the house burger and loaded it with l,t,o,p and jalapeños with Xtra cheese with seasoned fries. I added a chocolate Concrete with Hershes syrup and Oreos.... Omg. Everything was delicious, the burger was messy but a great burger needs to be a bit messy. I can't respect it if it isn't. The fries were perfectly seasoned and tasty as hell. The Concrete was sooo amazing. Definitely hit the spot on the sweetness factor. So glad I got to try it but a bit irritated with Door Dash for making me reorder and waiting even longer cause I was HUNGRY!!! Thanks VB for a very fulfilling late lunch. It's a solid restaurant and bar, and I've known quite a few bartenders and servers there during the last five or so years. What really keeps it on my list, though, is Leigha behind the bar. Leigha makes a great Old Fashioned, but it's more than just the drinks. Leigha has a way of making the bar feel comfortable and familiar, like catching up with a neighbor rather than just ordering another round. The conversation is always easy, never forced, and it's one of the main reasons my friends and I choose Salt when we're deciding where to go downtown. We usually check to see if she's working before making plans. That says a lot. Downtown Woodstock has plenty of good spots, but Leigha is a big reason Salt continues to stand out for us.“

“Absolutely one of my favorite places to eat! Friendly, helpful staff and great food is a winning combo. It can get busy, making it hard to find seating but in warmer months there's patio space as well. Parking rules have changed recently but if you can find a spot, it's free for one hour which is all you need here unless you want to go multiple places.“

“One of these few places that I never regret being a regular. With a variety of cheesesteaks to choose from, no doubt you'll find the one for you. Pepperoni/Chicken teriyaki cheesesteak for life! Customer service is alright as well, no discrepancies has occurred at all during my countless visits. Doesn't fail to satisfy my cravings as I shop at a market this location is at.“

“2nd visit - Sunday 10/19/2025. 1 pm.
Restaurant was packed but I had have the Memphian again! Staff working hard to get customers served. Considering how busy they were, I received my dine in order fairly quickly. Once again, I loved the sandwhich.

1st time visit on Saturday September 26, 2025 at about 12:15 pm. Ordered to-go. $24.00 dollar order.

I would like to preface by saying the food was excellent - Memphian and Turkey BLT.

Was surprised to see no one dining in and that I was never greeted. The counter employees didn't really seem happy to be working or that they had a customer in their presence. Rule #1 - acknowledge the presence of a customer and make them feel welcome.
