Service, taste, and quality of the food is not as good as the Aiea Shopping center and Pearl City locations that are both nearby and better alternatives to the mall location.
I havnt been to L&L in a while but I feel like this one has some good business sense. The also sell a big side of pickled cucumber for $5 which I’d never seen. It was great because a basic side salad isn’t that nutritious or healthy with dressing.
I saw other sides too which were nice because although I love rice and Mac salad my wife likes more variety. (Mac salad was solid tooo)
Saw Chicken skin too which I want to try next time. It looked mean.

Got the mini Teri beef with brown rice and Mac. Plus a side salad. The salad was fresh and not expensive at around 4$. Mini plate was not stingy with the meat. Brown rice was fresh, not overcooked. The meat had had a couple bites with hard gristle that could not be eaten. This knocks from 5-4 stars. Was pleased overall. Asked for Siracha and pepper. At 11.99 the mini plate is a fine alternative to the neighboring panda express’ offerings.
