“Siam Garden Cafe holds a special place in my heart as my favorite spot from when I was stationed in Hawaii over 10 years ago, and it’s just as incredible as I remember.

I order the Jungle Curry, prepared medium with chicken, and Sticky Rice. It is vibrant and packed with flavor—the perfect blend of coconut milk, carrots, cabbage, lime leaf, and basil made for an incredibly smooth and comforting dish. I wish I knew the recipe because I haven’t been able to find Jungle Curry, or any Curry for that matter, that comes anywhere close.

Not lying, the plate felt like it was 5 lbs! And it was really ono!! I've been to Thailand and this was authentic pad Thai. I couldn't even touch my fries, haha. And the workers were super nice :). Thai Village ranks right up there with the best of the best. The Larb Pork tastes just as my favorite street vendor made for me in Mae Hong Son province. Staff are friendly and the food is AMAZING. “I recently visited "King of Thai Boat Noodles" in Oahu and tried their Pad Kee Mao (Drunken) Noodles- both vegetarian (Tofu) as well as chicken options (because we had to visit this place twice ♥️) - medium spicy and seasoned them with some chilly vinegar, hot sauce and chilly oil. Noodles were perfectly cooked and had a satisfying spice level. The dish was absolutely delightful and practically melted in my mouth...ohhh my mouth started watering! The portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or want to become one, I highly recommend giving the Pad Kee Mao noodles a try!
Staff were also exceptional. They greeted us with warm smiles and friendly faces. Service was prompt & attentive, with the staff frequently checking into everyone.
The great part is because they have lots of visitors, they have posted a paper & pen right in front of the door to let you write your name & number of people with you, and they call you on your turn when the table is ready.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

It's like a comfort food to me now. I'm just a bit disappointed this time because the meat was really tough. I had to really chew it. I almost choked one time when I just wanted to swallow it already.“

“Outside of Bangkok itself, Bangkok Chef is on point with Thai food. Everything we ordered was very authentic and delicious. Having been to Thailand many times, it is quite a delight to find a gem like Bangkok Chef where they make real Thai food. Not customized to the American palate but real Thai cooking where you can actually smell the galangang and the Nam Pra in the food.

“I'm a Japanese tourist. I casually stopped by for lunch while exploring the outlet and ordered garlic shrimp and chicken curry. Both had a slight coconut flavor, which I liked. When my wife and I discussed what was delicious in Hawaii, we coincidentally agreed on this "Quick Thai" lunch.
The aunt was friendly. The magic of creating a diverse menu in that small kitchen space.
I was told in advance to wait 10 minutes, so I waited without stress. The food wasn't very spicy.

“Another Hidden Gem here in Kalihi at K&M Drive Inn in Kalihi next to Alicia’s Market.

They just recently opened, but they are slowly gaining many followers. The Oxtail Soup is loaded with 4 nice-sized Oxtails and for the $15.95 price you can’t go wrong. Love the strong presence of Star Anise and love the Veggies and Mushrooms throughout the Soup. It comes with freshly grated ginger as well.

The Fried Chicken Plate which came with 7 pieces of Chicken Wings with Rice and Mac Salad for $10.95. It was good at a reasonable price.

They do Take Out or Dine in. Love the vibe here and the service was very pleasant.

The only negative on this place is not the place itself but the limited parking situation.
