Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.“

It's a very small shop but you can see Macamia trees, try samples of nuts and coffee, and check out the items in the store. I definitely recommend making a quick stop here.“

“This is the best food truck on island and we’ve tried them all. We’ve been eating here for twenty years. I think the other shrimp truck in the lot must pay for advertising because it’s always crowded but their food is sad and gross by comparison! Hono’s is cash pay only. Shrimp are large, cooked to perfection. Plate comes with two scoops of rice and cole slaw with a sweet sauce that’s heavenly. LOVE the garlic!“

“Everything we tried was delicious! We went to Oahu for a week and ate here multiple times during our stay. Croissant breakfast sandwich with any kind of meat is delicious. Spam fried rice plate is great if you're looking for a big breakfast. The pastries, cinnamon rolls and pies were fantastic! The coconut cake was my favorite though! perfect, light, fluffy cake. I don't even like coconut!“

Amazing experience at Cholo’s! We ordered the nachos and quesadillas, and both were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted amazing.
What really stood out was our waiter, Keila. She was friendly, attentive, and professional, making sure we had everything we needed and checking in at just the right times. Her great service truly enhanced our dining experience.
