Our tour stopped in Hanapepe and we came across Midnight Bear Breads. Such a cute little town and bakery. My aunt and I picked up some delicious fresh pastry and breads. We really enjoyed them for breakfast while we stayed on the island.

We'd read about the bakery before visiting the island a couple of weeks ago. Because of dietary needs we wanted to be aware of places we might find the "right" for us anyway, comestibles. The woman at the counter was doing her best to answer our questions. Then the owner came out of the baking area and helped us so carefully and respectfully herself.
