Based on the reviews, Kiwi Korner is a spectacular bakery for both savory and sweet tooth fans. It is a grab and go kind of place, not a sit and eat kind of place. Everything they bake is incredible, with many family recipes. Their meat pies could win awards. The chicken and curry pie is delicious, and the mince and cheese pie is even better. The pastry is perfectly flaky, golden, and crisp without being greasy, and the fillings are rich, flavorful, and generously portioned. Other menu items include homemade donuts, cinnamon rolls, mango rolls, Māori-style bread, cream puffs, a bacon and egg pie, a bacon egg and cheese pie, steak and onion pies, and sausage wrapped in pastry dough. The mini cinnamon rolls trays are always a hit for parties. The only gluten free item is the pavlova, a rare treat. Service is very fast. Kiwi Korner is a hidden gem on the North Shore and an absolute must-try.
