“We visited The Temple several times while we were in Hilo in January 2023. Interesting and unknown cocktails are offered that tasted very good.There is a small but fine selection of delicacies to accompany your meal. They are not multi-course dishes; in terms of size and filling, they are more like European starters in both respects.The atmosphere and the charm of the location are something. It's difficult to describe. Go and feel. There's something relaxing about it.There's a bit of the Hilo lifestyle thrown in too. It's not like the tourist bars in Waikiki. There are locals here.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian dishes.Parking: You can park on the side of the road in front of the building. Since we were able to reach The Temple on foot from the hotel, we can't say how much luck and time it took to get a parking space.“

“The service is good, friendly, and exudes local spirit. The food is very good - loved the Oyakodon personally AND the salads are overwhelming in both scope, ingredients, texture, and taste (the dressing is really ono). We were an exceptionally large party and everyone was very satisfied with their orders. The only prob we had was with the sticky floor.“
