My visits to the Doutor Kona Coffee Farm have consistently been a highlight of my time in Kona, and it's a place I eagerly share with visiting friends and family. From the moment you arrive, you're struck by the immaculate grounds, a testament to the care and dedication put into this farm. Lush greenery abounds, creating a tranquil and beautiful setting for their walking tour.
The tour itself is a delightful experience, a gentle stroll through the coffee plants and other tropical flora. What makes it truly unique is the opportunity to pick and taste whatever fruits are in season along the way – a delightful and sensory connection to the land. The path eventually leads to a breathtaking infinity pool, an oasis where you can relax, soak in the stunning views, and, of course, savor their exceptional Kona coffee.

“Love this intimate little shop. Large selection of coffees and other drinks, simple dishes but made well, welcoming ambience, charming staff. Beautiful view of kealakekua bay from lanai. We devoured our sandwiches immediately so no pics. Tuna melt on panini and ham sandwich on wheat were both excellent.“

“I ordered an Acai smoothie with almond butter drizzle. And my mom got a mocha frappe. Both were very delicious! This coffee shop has plenty of parking and seating inside is ample. Great place for families, remote workers or a place to chat with a friend. The baristas were super friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. They have vegan options for drinks here and food. And I loved that they also sold locally made sourdough bread and tons of other goodies sold by local artists and bakers! We also got the chia peanut butter bites that were delicious! You gotta try them! I would highly recommend coming here! They have such a diversity of drink and smoothie and Acai bowl options that you won’t have a hard time finding a drink or snack you like!“

“Having breakfast here was an amazing experience. The food was fresh and delicious especially the pickles. Everything was made in house. The focaccia was tasty and soft with the right amount of crisp. We ordered via the kiosk for convenience but apparently that was for take out orders so unfortunately we were not able to get our parking validated after we consumed our meals in house. Tip: order by the cashier and ask for parking validation as soon as you cash if dining in, otherwise parking would be $8.99.“

“We stayed at the Marriott and swung in to the coffee shop for breakfast. The drinks were perfect - latte had a nice layer of foam, and a heart to boot. The Ube cold brew was unexpectedly delicious - easy to see why it's a staff pick! We tried two different croffles and honestly I dont know why people make real waffles anymore, when they can have one of these instead. The waffle was PERFECTION, layered and crispy and buttery and chewy in the best ways. I ordered the garlic bread grilled cheese and would eat it every day if I had the chance. The chips were nicely seasoned too! Breakfast sandwich was eaten too fast by my husband to take a picture, but I heard it was good.

2 drinks, 2 croffles, grilled cheese and a breakfast sandwich was $58 before tip. Definitely reasonable considering island pricing (I actually think I pay more for a large latte in Minnesota than we paid here!)

11/10 would recommend - we'll probably go back for breakfast tomorrow!“

“We had breakfast there with pancakes and a variation of Loco Moco. The pancake came with maple syrup, butter cream and one topping plus you can mix match them. I did blueberry and Mac nut and it was delicious.
The Loco Moco was also very good, be prepared to get the agony of choice when you want to try this, because the menue is filled with many variations 🤤

“we got the drifter large açaí bowl (32oz, $18). it was absolutely delicious with generous quantities. i really enjoyed the nice crunch of the cacao nibs and granola. i do think the açaí base was a tad bit more watery than i prefer, but overall i’m still very very satisfied.“
