L&L Hawaiian Barbecue offers surprisingly delicious food with huge portion sizes. The BBQ chicken is juicy and incredibly flavorful, and the bbq short rib is also flavorful. The macaroni salad is so good, even for those who hate mayo. The Katsu Musubi and Spam Musubi are favorites, and the chicken Katsu is perfectly crispy on the outside while the chicken stays tender and juicy. The mixed bbq plate has a very large portion with a hefty portion of meat. The chicken Katsu plate goes well with beef curry. The beef bowl has tasty beef with an adequate portion, though the vegetables were cold. Service is described as meh or not bad not good, with some finding it tough to get napkins and silverware. However, the front staff at some locations are friendly, nice, and chat with kids, making visits feel warm. The atmosphere is close to a fast food joint. Prices feel reasonable for generous portions. Overall, it is good for quick, good food at a good price.
