We visited Aina Steak and Seafood over the Christmas holidays and were a little bit late for our reservations. Luckily, the friendly staff still saved a table for us by the open kitchen. The kitchen and the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms, were very clean. The restaurant had a different vibe from other steakhouses on the island which was very refreshing.

The chef excels in preparing steaks, such as the Tomahawk steak, which is so tender it can be cut with a butter knife. The restaurant pays attention to special requests, like providing fries even when they're not on the menu. The atmosphere at Aina is perfect for Honolulu, being casual and friendly. Lisa, the hostess and server, is commended for her exceptional service and making visits wonderful. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and serves some of the best food visitors have had since landing from LA. Although some diners have noted issues with staff management, the overall dining experience remains enjoyable, with fresh and delicious food, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere that feels like home.
