IT IS SUCH A PLEASANT REPRIEVE, a welcomed “time-out” in my somewhat hectic Aloha Friday, to stop, jump-off my bicycle, and pop into one of my most favourite “mobile-remote offices”/coffee-tea shoppes, Blue Tree Cafe on Kapiolani Blvd..... The workers were friendly and ready to serve. Coffee was delicious!
Super cute place there’s indoor and outdoor seating, when I was there it was super full from a book club meeting so there were no tables but I’m assuming it’s not usually like that. I tried the mushroom toast which was yum and the Kulolo coffee, I’m not a coffee drinker really but it was fun to try and not strong. service was fast. Was able to just sit around and read for a while definitely a popular place for students to study.

Bluetree Cafe Kakaako is a nice, clean cafe with a cute loft seating area and good Wi-Fi, perfect for working or relaxing. The ube cloud coffee and horchata latte are yummy choices, and they offer decaf too. Customers love the delicious ube lattes and good food. The upstairs space is nice to work or relax with lots of plug-ins, and they also have outdoor seating. The staff is always friendly and helpful, never rushing or seeming annoyed. Customers appreciate the great, casual-chic atmosphere, though the music can be a bit loud if you stay too long. The coffee is amazing, with high-quality beans and skilled preparation. Overall, Bluetree Cafe Kakaako is a cozy and chilled-out spot, though the internet speed could be faster.
