“This McDonald has two lanes for drive through and three curbside checking.
Drinks can be refilled.
Downside is that there are often homeless that hang in there parking lot. This is the only McDonald I know in Hawaii that a security guards posted in the restaurant.“
“I would say I'm very thankful for McDonald's even though it's a fast food place with lots of noise and all kinds of people-- sometimes homeless people run in and out to use the restrooms or ask for meal.
So I feel rather comfortable there because I can just sit down and relax in the cool air conditioning with even just a fish patty if I don't want all the calories of the white bread. And then Iced tea that has no calories and no sugar. It's a refreshing place to recharge a bit without having to worry about how you look. The bathrooms
are usually kept clean, which is good.
A lot of teenagers after school go there, so it's kind of light-hearted.
It's a little bit like an Oasis, when there are no restaurants, really close that are inexpensive where you just want to sit down and relax a bit with something small.“
“Saw this McDonald’s on the strip next to Waikiki beach and had to stop in when I saw that they have something on the menu I hadn’t seen before. We went here when we were visiting in January. It’s called the “McTeri” and I got it as a meal. It’s basically just their take on a teriyaki burger. It was pretty good but a little messy as they were heavy on the sauce. This place has indoor and outdoor seating and was very clean. Also, I just loved how the outside of this McDonald’s building was painted. It looks like it’s the color of sand which gives it a fun beachy vibe.“
“KoKo & I eat McDonalds everyday for breakfast and dinner. This location hands down is one of the best McDonalds locations. The food always tastes good and well prepared, the bathrooms are always clean, the staff is friendly, the whole place is always nice & clean. Great ownership 👍“
“McDonald's, not typically known for its healthy foods but lately with the $5 and $6 value meals has been a decent place to enjoy a quick and cheap lunch in Waikiki. Where the average prices can be as high as 17 to $25 for a lunch. This particular location is clean well managed and efficient in terms of getting food out. Even faster when you use the app for pickup.
Parking: If you're driving don't come here. No parking anywhere nearby. But, if you work here or staying in one of the nearby hotels easy walk.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp and all the usual ADA compliances.“
“I usually go through drive through here and I’ve always had good experience with food & very friendly workers. Today I decided to dine in & I was literally shocked. My husband accidentally spilled his drink right as he got it. We asked for napkins and if we could get a refill and Elizabeth went above and beyond. She didn’t even make a face when we told her about the accident. We were going to clean it up ourselves but she chose to clean it and told us to enjoy our food and that it’s her job. It’s very rare to see people with her spirit, she’s one of a kind. Every other McDonald's that I go to, staff are rude and miserable. Elizabeth is bright and truly sweet! The kind of staff businesses need! I hope she gets a raise or a promotion.“
“They have this buzzer that goes off perpetually on the french fry cooker. It just beeps Loudly and never stops while you're eating. It's like a truck backing up when you're trying to sleep at five in the morning. And it doesn't stop. I can't believe that they have become so accustomed to it that they do not realize how annoying the Sound feeling the restaurant downtown Is to the customers who want to sit down and relax
I like their hamburgers and great deals for 5 or 6 bucks, But frankly, I don't feel very good after eating the fried chicken and french fries... but tasty after going to the gym. Convenient location.
The hamburgers go down pretty well, and the iced tea without sugar is really good also.
They have to put up with some Homeless people, and I think they do a pretty good job. I've seen some pretty rude customers, yelling at them, and they handled things well. For a quick bite, it's a helpful place, The upstairs is closed at night. And so you only have the little space downstairs with all the noise, but it's still helpful.“
“I enjoyed the $5 meal. And I know I'd like the $6 meal. The mcdouble is the right size...for me.
Parking: At times you'd like to drive and park on the other side but drive through uses the same lane...be patient, it's not a long wait.“
“I recently visited the McDonald's located at 2915 E Manoa Rd in Honolulu, and I had a pleasant experience. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for dining. The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that my order was prepared quickly and accurately.
Overall, this McDonald's location offers a reliable spot for a quick meal, with a welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. Whether you're grabbing breakfast or a late-night snack, it's a great choice for fast food in the Manoa area.
Kid-friendliness: Yes
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Very relax & professional. Only.problem is teen boy brings his bike in the eating establishment, not using the bike rack outside.
Parking: Parking in front of the establishment always busy but parking always was available..god bless them..“
“Stopped by McDonald’s and it was exactly what I needed. Fast service, clean environment, and the food was fresh and delicious. The fries were crispy, the Big Mac was perfect as always, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered through the app and everything was ready when I arrived — super convenient. A reliable spot for a quick and tasty bite!“
“I do not normally give 5-star reviews to fast food restaurants, however, this location deserves a great review. The food was hot and fresh. The service was top notch. The entire staff was friendly and smiled. They seemed to enjoy their jobs and enjoyed working together. This was a McDonalds experience I remember from my childhood. Kudos to the manager at this location who recruited and retains an incredible staff. I'm loving it.“
“Very busy place. Lots of people from all over. The staff does their best to keep up with everything. Soda machine is often no ice because it's that busy. All the garbage bins overflowing, and there's even someone to change it. Hectic place- I give the workers credit for doing a great job.“
“When you need to feed kids on vacation. Plus, they always have a locally inspired pie. The taro pie was very tasty.
Staff was very accommodating to dietary needs.
No bathroom available in the restaurant
Dietary restrictions: They made cracked eggs instead of scrambled.
Kid-friendliness: Happy meals!“
“Lost my wallet at this location. Came back 30 minutes later and they had it and we're so gracious. They verified my ID in the wallet and give it back to me expeditiously. 10 out of 10 service. I didn't think I would ever get it back.“
“They are open 24/7 which is a plus for me being that I am up early for work and this is one of a few options I have to get something to eat. It’s usually busy during the day but at late night and early risers won’t run into a line normally. Haven’t had many order issues either, and the staff always have been very professional. That’s been my experience. Maybe I’m just lucky.“
“I visited this McDonalds on my way to an appointment just down the street. I used the drive thru which was efficient. The nice woman who was working the cash register was very helpful and greeted me with Aloha. The kitchen staff worker at the next window handed me my food and ask if there was anything else that I needed which I was not expecting but I told her no and thanked her for my food. Overall it was a very pleasant visit.“
“Will focus more on the atmosphere and service in this place.
Pros:
The inside of this place is quit clean and well maintained.
Cons:
The self-service kiosk is taking quite a lot of space and some of them aren’t working at all.
It’s taking quite sometimes for me to receive my order even when I see not as many orders in the computer inside.
The self-refills are not available.“
“I go to this Mickey Ds all da time and this braddah at da drive-thru, buff filipino boy with one mean goatee small kine shy but real nice. he try talk but his voice stay all soft, like he scared fo mess up. Prolly one mainland Filo cuz he sounded like one black guy thru the speaker but the order come out all good and quick tho so no problem. I think maybe he mo better in da back cuz look like he stressed when he gotta talk to people. I get it talking to people all day not easy but dis guy Ray(?) look like he rather be anywhere else. maybe in the kitchen, he can jus focus on da food, no need worry bout taking orders and payments an shet. plus filipino braddahz always know how fo cook mean kine grindz so i bet he would kill it back dea. Solid guy still!!
But for real food always solid, fries crispy, coke always hit da spot. no complaints, jus feel kinda bad for da boy, hope he find one spot dat betta fo him“
“I want to give a shout out to Christine the manager at this location for her excellent customer service. She was able to be kind and compassionate and patient in resolving my issue. McDonald’s is fortunate to have her on board for sure! 🌺“
