Palace Saimin Reviews
The best and last saimin stand on the Island. Old fashion restaurant. The best dashi and barbecue sticks. Simple menu. Very reasonable prices.
This place was highly rated and off the beaten path. The prices can’t be beat. The food was excellent. If you want to eat where the locals eat, this is the place. Parking might be difficult, but this place is worth visiting.
I've been coming to this place since small kid time. Good saimin and barbecue stick. One barbecue stick is now $4+

Palace Saimin is a classic spot for traditional saimin and teriyaki beef sticks. This family-owned restaurant has been serving the community for over 75 years, providing a comforting experience in a clean and cozy atmosphere. The savory broth and chewy noodles are complemented by delectable BBQ beef sticks. The owner is known for being extremely nice, and many customers find the food delicious. The saimin noodles are cooked perfectly, with a nice spring when bitten down. The wonton is packed with meat and pairs well with the noodles. The BBQ sticks are so good that many guests often order them again. While parking can be a challenge and tables are limited, the quick service and friendly staff make it a popular destination. Many consider it the best saimin on the island, with piping hot dashi that stays warm throughout the meal. It is a hidden gem and a highlight of any Hawaii trip. Customers recommend the Large or X-Large bowls for adults, and the restaurant has a nostalgic charm with faded photos of past staff members throughout the years.
