“It may not seem like much at first glance, with a limited selection of drinks to choose from at this bar, but a few good pointers to note is the drinks range from about 4.50-5, and have a decent cost on pitchers too. There is a restaurant next door that serves wings, jerk chicken, and a few other things that you can buy that they can serve to you at the bar. The bar also has a decent amount of high table seating inside, and plenty of tables outside, with some being under the cover of the extension of the roof. The biggest takeaway is the fact that they have 4 pool tables, and you can rent a set of balls for free, on the condition that you have to turn in a form of ID, likely your CAC. When it's not busy and people aren't waiting to rent balls, you can play until close. Otherwise, you'll only be able to rent for 1 hour and wait for your turn. The atmosphere is generally nice, and the music ranges from Techno for one playlist, to multiple forms of Rock, to some popish music. Maybe you can request, but otherwise a DJ does come around once a weekend.“

“We try to stop at the 10th Puka Sports Lounge after playing a round of golf. Group is usually small. During the week service is very fast, many times we are the only people there. Quality of food is excellent, I enjoy the mushroom Berger. Wedge fried potato’s are also good. Ample parking is available less than a minute walk. Most importantly the interaction with staff is incredible. The staff is very friendly, almost seems like they are part of the group.“

“They make an amazing mushroom burger. I do wish they seasoned it a little more but it is no thing for me to throw some salt and pepper on it. & I love pickles but they do not have any. The cheese curds are also really good! The service is always great and when we visit there is normally no one there and we can watch the game or do some work on our computer so I love it. “They have a lot of interesting Foods. I tried several and took them home and most everything was good but some things I had no idea what they were. But my son was with me and four of his children are Japanese American and they know what they are and so does he he spent probably 10 years in Japan. So it was a great experience. And I would highly recommend.“

“On Hale Koa's beach (Fort DeRussy). Nice atmosphere and 20% discount for military personnel. Only food is hot dogs and chips. Why a 5/5 rating? Because of Kimo the bartender. Have never met a more caring person. He gives water with the drinks, offers chairs, sun protection lotion and anything else needed. All customers I talked to felt the same way about Kimo. Excellent variety of drinks. Mango flow was my favorite. People from all over the world sit here and we become one big family. Will be back and will recommend ?“

“This bar was one of the highlights of my time on Oahu. I loved the ambiance and music from the live DJ. The decor and layout was very aesthetic. The space was small but I personally like a more intimate setting. All their drinks were very creative and well-made. Saved this spot in my favorites!“

“Everything was beautiful: weather, view, piano music and food service. Food was interesting and delicious. The only area they could improve would be the dessert selection. The kulolo crunch and the basque cheesecake were both bland. Enjoyed the coconut ice cream and fruit. The desserts at Dean & Deluca are way better. Other than that, it was a lovely experience.“

“This is a great outdoor spot to have some drinks right off the beach! We watched the sunset on the beach and then walked right in and it wasn't too busy (on a weekday at 6pm). Our server Josephine was lovely and very good at checking up on us. A little later on they had live music too, and it was a very relaxed and enjoyable vibe!
My favourite drink was the Lava Flow!

“Went for drinks only. The mixes and the alcohol were good quality.

The staff was very good and kept up with all of the tables. We were asked if we wanted more and had new drinks before our previous ones were finished.

“Had lunch here with a bunch of friends today after our Sunday morning meeting - it’s been awhile since my last visit, so when a friend wanted to take me today, I was exited to try it again. It’s been a long time since I had Chicken Katsu, so I decided to order that with all white rice instead of the Mac Salad. The Chicken Katsu was pretty thick and very very juicy. Two others in my group ordered the same, one with gravy, and they both loved theirs saying it was the best one they had. Other friends ordered the Cheeseburger, Fish Tacos, Cesar Salad and Portuguese Bean Soup, saying it was also very good. A friend shared her Artichoke Dip with us saying we just had to try it because the last time she came, her family ordered two. She was right! The Artichoke Dip was the best I had. Delicious! Highly recommend u order that. Another friend ordered the Cuban Sandwich saying it wasn’t too bad, but there was a sauce on it that wasn’t to her liking, but other than that, the service was absolutely amazing, our area was spacious and very clean, which made our gathering more enjoyable. Great meal with Great friends. Will definitely come back again!!“

“Have been wanting to try here and finally decided to bring a friend for her bday breakfast. The food was delicious, and it had a chill atmosphere. Very friendly staff and the place is super clean. Highly recommend the vanilla cream pancakes...they were the size of the plate and the firecracker chicken hash bowl. They both were delicious. They even offered a kids menu for breakfast, which was good to know.“

“Resto-bar in the middle of a grocery store - reminds me of places in Europe and Asia I’ve travelled. Service was excellent, bartender was super friendly and attentive and drinks were great, but food was average at best. Calamari karaage was ok but very greasy/oily; we were some of the first to order at lunchtime and I suspect their fryer wasn’t up to temp but they tried to cook it anyways. We split the burger which came with great fries (fryer now up to temp?) and the burger was fine, but just kinda plain and underwhelming. Overall great experience because of the bartender and would give it another chance as some of the other food coming out looked really good - maybe we picked poorly?“

“Roy's has a well-deserved reputation for blending creative approaches to dishes with outstanding presentation, taste and quality ingredients. Our fish dishes were exceptional, kitchen timing perfect (not too rushed with sufficient space between courses). Service was attentive but not overly intrusive. Blackened ahi appetizer was plentiful and sashimi quality great. Butterfish always great, and it did at our dinner at the original Roy's Waikiki. Roy's is expensive, but it aligns with the quality and service.“

“This bar is so cute. Tucked away in the Stix Asia food hall. It’s a nice place to stop for a drink in away from the hustle and bustle of the Waikiki strip. Make sure to try their gyoza and I can’t remember the name of it but the cocktail I had was something with Hali vodka and midori was so good. Also they validate parking “

The food came from the neighboring establishment hot and ready.
We decided upon the Mezze platter with falafel, and the tacos with lamb. Both were outstanding, full of flavor and healthily portioned; enough for a second meal.

There was also a DJ who added to the relaxed atmosphere. It was a relief to be in an unpretentious setting with great hospitality and affordable, quality fare.

“Very pretty contemporary coffee shop & bar with a lot of seating available and long hours. Friendly attentive staff works hard with all the foot traffic from Waikiki strip right around the corner. My cortado was very good…not amazing, served only in to-go cups, the seating inside is stylish but loud music gives off a bar-type vibe, difficulty parking & no outlets or restrooms for use… 4.5/5

“It's been a while since I visited Bar 35. Sat at the bar with friends and had a wonderful time. It has a live entertainer (a singer) tonight and he was awesome! Had the pork belly and Brussels sprouts--both were delish! Will definitely go back more often!
