“Despite being unlucky by getting into a defensive collision with a drunk customer, I truly respect most of the staff that works there! If you want late night chill vibes or early morning lake scenery then this is your spot! Liz & Tim are great workers that carries the establishment in their sleep!
Heather & Sunny are the best bartenders I’ve ever worked with. April is the OG Bartender whose spirit brings great vibes to the table! I wish nothing but the best for this company!“

“They have a lot of interesting Foods. I tried several and took them home and most everything was good but some things I had no idea what they were. But my son was with me and four of his children are Japanese American and they know what they are and so does he he spent probably 10 years in Japan. So it was a great experience. And I would highly recommend.“

“Had lunch here with a bunch of friends today after our Sunday morning meeting - it’s been awhile since my last visit, so when a friend wanted to take me today, I was exited to try it again. It’s been a long time since I had Chicken Katsu, so I decided to order that with all white rice instead of the Mac Salad. The Chicken Katsu was pretty thick and very very juicy. Two others in my group ordered the same, one with gravy, and they both loved theirs saying it was the best one they had. Other friends ordered the Cheeseburger, Fish Tacos, Cesar Salad and Portuguese Bean Soup, saying it was also very good. A friend shared her Artichoke Dip with us saying we just had to try it because the last time she came, her family ordered two. She was right! The Artichoke Dip was the best I had. Delicious! Highly recommend u order that. Another friend ordered the Cuban Sandwich saying it wasn’t too bad, but there was a sauce on it that wasn’t to her liking, but other than that, the service was absolutely amazing, our area was spacious and very clean, which made our gathering more enjoyable. Great meal with Great friends. Will definitely come back again!!“

“Before I start this review I just want to say that if I could give Jay 10 stars for service I would. Great guy, super attentive, and just elevated the entire experience.
Stopped in here for our last meal before leaving Hawaii and Pau Hana didn't disappoint. Fried chicken skin, poke, fried pork chop, burgers, all of which was amazing.
Lucky we saved room because the bread pudding was probably one of the best things I ate during the week on the island.
5 out of 5 but an easy 10 out of 10. Thank you!“

“I CANNOT believe that I'm the first one to review this company! Considering the level of service and professionalism that both my new husband and I received along with the MANY compliments from all of our guests (not even exaggerating) for our wedding reception, you would think that they've been doing this as the same business since forever. First off, I am definitely someone who does tons of research and asks even more questions prior to hiring someone. Being that we were looking for service for our wedding reception, the bar was set even much higher. I don't just look for price but moreso quality worth paying for. Where we had our reception, we were allowed to bring in our own alcohol and didn't even require a licensed bartender to serve our guests. The original plan was to have two of my (licensed) bartender friends serve and we provide everything else. Sounds like an easy plan, right? We'd save money and have somewhat professionals taking care of my guests. WRONG. We started planning out how much alcohol we needed (not having the slightest idea) and then having to factor in all the mixers and cups and straws and stirrers and ice and how everything was getting down there... and then realized that the logistics of our bar was turning out to be a nightmare. Yes there is the simple fact of asking our family or friends to help but, for once, I didn't want any of our guests to be lifting a finger and just wanted everyone to enjoy. So, with almost a month to go and desperate, I started messaging as many bartenders as I could find. Daniel was one of the first to respond back and, although I was in contact with a few others, he was the only one who was very detailed in answering ALL of my questions. His prices seemed a little higher than some but, if you took a really good look at it and asked the right questions (ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS), they were actually worth the costs considering what they included and also what's not listed (like a chalkboard sign that they provide of the drink menu). With every answer that he gave, I had three more questions.. and he answered everyone one of them. I gave him our original budget and he made suggestions as to what we could do to meet it by adjusting our alcohol purchase list. They provide all the mixers, paper goods, setup their own, and even offered to pick up the alcohol from us when we finished purchasing from Costco. We went over our shopping list to determine if we had enough alcohol. We already knew it but he suggested ordering from Costco because of their return policy. He explained any extra costs that could arise (if we wanted specialty mixers or garnishes) and approximation of those costs beforehand. At no time did I ever feel that Daniel was out to make extra bucks off of me and it sincerely felt like he had our best interest in mind the entire time. Then the day of the wedding arrived. Daniel had started serving our guests around 4:30p for cocktail hour and my new husband and I arrived at 6:15p after taking pictures. Anytime people approached us and we asked if they were having a good time so far, 4 out of every 5 people would mention how great the bartenders were! There was a great vibe all night and no one complained about anyone being too drunk or waiting too long for their drinks. The bartending station was pretty far from where our sweetheart table was but Daniel still made personal trips to bring us our drinks and to periodically check on us throughout the night to make sure we were okay and our glasses were full! Wow! Here in Hawaii there are parties that are thrown where you have your family and friends help you out, and that's all well and good. But if you don't want to deal with running out of alcohol or ice or with people taking too long to serve drinks, hire professionals like Daniel and his team. And if you're as fortunate as us, you end up having an amazing business relationship where you pretty much get treated like you were their family, anyway! We took the chance of hiring pro“

“The reception was not very receptive ??
For a while I didn't want to enter the place, I asked for a table for 3 people and it was difficult to find a table, I decided to sit at the counter, that way I could access the restaurant.
When I sat at the counter there were tables available.
But I always tend to point out the positives and I really liked the service at the counter by two bar women.
Wonderful food! And the starter they offer as a courtesy is very tasty.
It was worth the visit!“

“The bar was closed for a private party (50th wedding anniversary celebration) & I was an invited guest. The bar provided a small selection of beer, wine, call & well drinks, & soda. Food was catered by M Poke in Pearl Kai Shopping Center; delicious generous servings.“

“Mellow spot underground (if you can’t find it using Google Maps) with $3 Coors Light bottles. Locals, lots of TVs. They feed the cemetery cats and give them water which I like. Friendly people all around. Looks like it would be a fun spot to do karaoke.“

“Authentic Japanese Katsu!
I’m Japanese and living in another state but came here in Hawaii for travel. There’s no Authentic Katsu restaurant in the area I live, so I was craving for so long. Also price was great. Chicken Katsu curry was $16.
If you wanted to eat Authentic Japanese Katsu and Katsu Curry, this is the best place you can find in Oahu!
Since I live in America, there aren't any good Japanese restaurants in my neighborhood, so I've always wanted to eat there. It's been a while since I've eaten cutlet curry, and it was absolutely delicious. Thank you for the meal!“
