This place was AMAZING. Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in a very long time. My husband went spearfishing that morning. We brought in our fish and they cooked it up for us salt & pepper style. We got some fried rice, pot stickers and green beans as well. The portions were HUGE. I was convinced we’d have leftovers but we just couldn’t stop eating. It was that good. I wish we found them earlier on our trip. We will be eating here every time we’re in Kona.
We were told to take the 2 fish we caught on our charter here for them to prepare for us and oh my goodness they didnt disappoint!! Best meal I've ever had! We went back a few days later to order off there menu and that also knocked our socks off! If your looking for Chinese food, you won't regret ordering here!
We had fresh caught tuna and they prepared it nicely for us.

Ocean Seafood | Chinese Restaurant offers a variety of Chinese dishes with a focus on seafood and traditional favorites. Customers appreciate the friendly wait staff and good value for money. The menu features popular items such as chicken and corn soup, roast duck, fried rice, crab rangoons, fried shrimp, and soft shell crab. The soft shell crab is especially praised for its crispy texture and generous portion, with some customers switching from other dishes to enjoy it. The crab rangoons and fried shrimp are also well-liked. The restaurant is known for its solid cooking and authentic flavors, with owners from Zhongshan, China, and staff who can speak Cantonese. Their roast duck receives high praise, comparable to dishes from China, and is served with an additional duck-and-onions dish and soup made from duck bones, offering good value. Customers can also buy seafood from the market to have it cooked at the restaurant. While most reviews highlight the quality and taste of the food, some note concerns about the bill, particularly with the rice pricing and tip system, which can be confusing. Overall, Ocean Seafood is considered a better-than-average Chinese restaurant in the area, offering good food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.
