You could spend all day here and feel at home. I usually go to watch the games and it’s always a good conversation to have. Made a lot of new friends there in my short time going.
So I have to say that I am a newbie at this yelp thing. But I've been at the establishment a few times and enjoy myself due to the friendly staff and the great drinks. I am definitely a returning customer but I rarely attend bars infact the tavern is the only place I am willing to go to to relax and calm down the stress of the work week. If you like a traditional dive bar, but by the beach this it. The people were nice and and the drinks were exactly like our local dive back home. Simple and strong like most people like them. If you're in the area I would recommend stopping in for one or a few.
