“Delicious food! We got the pad Thai to share and it was really good. If you’re craving authentic Thai food, this is a great, quick option.
Another bonus is that it’s located next to several other food trucks, so it’s easy to grab different kinds of food if everyone in your group wants something different. Overall, a good stop if you’re in the area!“

“This food truck is the best place for poké on Kauai! Charming relaxed atmosphere, DELICIOUS food at affordable prices, all next to an open building with great shops. Corn hole game for the kiddos set up near the covered seating area. All 8 in our group agreed that this was the place to eat! Visited 2-3 times during our stay. Highly recommend!“

“Justin, you and your team did a fabulous job for our Son's wedding rehearsal dinner! We are so grateful for all the hard work leading up to our event and for your careful attention to detail and responsiveness to our requests. The food was a wonderful combination of flavors and delicious in every way! Our family and wedding party loved and raved about it all! A few of the many items people keep raving about was the amazing Macaroni Salad and your special BBQ sauces. We all agreed they were the best we ever had! The coffee and food are consistently excellent & crafted with intention and quality. You can tell everything is done with heart. What sets Blue Bird Café apart is they don’t just run a business; they steward a space that brings people together.

“I got the crusted Ono from hokus food truck at the Hanapepe art walk. The fish was good, but the Mac salad was THE BEST MAC SALAD I'VE EVER HAD. I don't know what he put in it, but it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend getting the Mac salad with whatever other order you get.“

“I told my wife we were going to a food truck that I had read about for lunch. She was a little skeptical, but said sure, let’s go. So glad we did. The food was so delicious! And the portion size was so generous. When you are on the south shore of Kauai, please don’t miss this gem.“

“I tried the Handlebar and loved the natural flavors here and they make sure to add flavor as they build! I would ask for extra coconut flakes on top and wish they poked some holes in the ice to ensure the flavor gets to the center so it's not a snowball in the middle.“

“We were in town from KC during the superbowl and wanted some bbq for the game. We are a bit picky and spoiled with bbq but D's hit the spot! We had ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, and brisket. Good portion sizes and great taste! All of the meat was the perfect level of tender without falling apart and had great flavor. The medium sauce was sooo good! A slow heat with a lot of flavor! Thank you D's for great food and friendly service! Don't hesitate and go get some delicious bbq in your life!“

“The vegetable rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce it comes with? So good!!!
We also had the chicken pad Thai and it was good. Nice chunks of chicken and the noodles were cooked perfectly.
We would definitely eat here again. I may stop just to get some of the vegetable rolls!“
“Everything was delicious, I would love to try everything on the menu, I think it’s all equally good!! The noodles are amazing and so are the people! I couldn’t decide between two of the dishes so they let us have a small sample of the plate I didn’t order (even though they were so busy!) so we could try it. Thank you!!“

“Blackened fish tacos were amazing and priced right. A lightly spicy sauce and crisp cabbage highlighted a fresh mild whitefish with the perfect amount of seasoning.
Lots of Mexican food options on this part of the island, but this is the best.“
