“While I was in Honolulu, I happened to come across this shop and thought I could speak Japanese, so I went in (lol)The okonomiyaki was much better than other okonomiyaki chain restaurants in Japan. We also had steak, which was tender, and the bill for two people including tip was about 20,000 Japanese yen, but it was worth it. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were kind. I would like to stop by again next time I go to Hawaii.“
“I had an amazing lunch today. I was craving Tom Yum, so I walked down to the place I see every day I’m driving home from work. I was not disappointed. The ladies there were so nice, and the food is so delicious. I had Tom Yum, Nam Tok, and an order of some of the most crispy Spring Rolls I have had in a while. Some ladies there were eating a delicious looking Lao Papaya salad that I can’t wait to come back to try and want to try the sausage as well. Can’t wait to become a regular!!!!“

The food is amazing…feels like eating food in Japan.Food and drink review as below:.Shrimp Dumplings and Gyu Suji Oden have interesting taste. 7/10.Tonpeiyaki is the best egg ever! Fluffy and soft taste, has thin slices pork in between, sweet and creamy sauce on top. 10:10.Salmon sashimi tastes so good so fresh as a live salmon. Best tasting sashimi compared to those Japanese restaurants in the mall area. 10/10.Choya Green Tea Ume also has an interesting taste. 6/10.Got a free soda ume by mistake but turn out pretty good tastings! Probably Japanese soda. 8/10Lovely restaurants, sweet services, amazing food. Affordable, so much worth the prices. Totally recommended this place, open late until 1am. Must try yourself“
“Small little restaurant but the food is amazing. We got spicy cold cucumbers for appetizers, very refreshing. Mix negiyaki is recommended by our server also amazing. We can't stop eating the garlic fried rice, no kidding you need to try it to believe it. We sit at the bar area and watch the chef cook super fun to watch and eat good food at the same time. Definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“Thank You for making my son's Bday and Girl's Day a very memorable event. My granddaughter really enjoy the chef and his culinary skills. Brought back memories of when my Dad and I used to go to the Ilikai Tanaka of Tokyo. Richard was the manager was back then. even after Richard left, we still enjoyed going there. I guess that's why I chose Tanaka of Tokyo West. I have absolutely no regrets. Thank You and the staff for a wonderful time!!!“

“I LOVE Teppanyaki Farmer!!! It's one of my fave places to grab lunch when I'm in Ala Moana area. The first time someone tried to explain what the beef roll was I was like huh??! That sounds so strange. But it must be experienced for you to fall in love with it!! Let me explain!!! You can order a beef or pork roll, which is thinly sliced meat and they wrap it around shredded potato (think hash browns before you fry them). This beautiful food lays on top of a bed of fresh lettuce. What makes this so delicious is, you then generously pour on ponzu sauce all over it!!! The potato is nicely cooked and there's is the meat perfectly cooked on top, with the crisp freshness of the lettuce beneath. Oh!! How could I forget?! You must get crispy garlic chips on this as well!!! Sooooo yummy!!! I've heard that the sandwich here is really good so I def need to try that sometime. Only if I can break my pork roll habit lol!“
“This is a great place to check out. The service is friendly, the food is good and the place is clean. The sushi is fresh and good value. We went on a weekday but needed to sit at the bar b/c it was quite busy. I would make a reservation in the future.“
