Reviews for Outback Steakhouse

It has been almost 8 years since I came to eat at an Outback Steakhouse. We came at around 5:30pm, so it wasn't that busy and my family had reservations. Our server was friendly, but it took awhile for main dishes to come out. We fortunately had complimentary bread to fill up on. We ended up eating 4 rolls of bread amongst 4 adults and 1 teen before the food came. I had the Steakhouse salad which was a pretty decent size. The blue cheese vinaigrette was tasty. We are a Senior couple. We enjoy light lunches. The soup and salad combo is like $10.95. French onion soup, individually baked, with a garden salad and fresh loaf of brown bread. All you can eat. I think I only doubled up.on the soup once. A sit down full service. Cannot beat that price and the meal is excellent.

One the three visits I found it to be the worst Outback food I've had. My aunt loves Outback, but I'd never take her here--the shrimp were cooked to the size, color and hardness of a cashew nut. The spices are over done to cover poor cooking quality, and that included the blooming onion.

About Outback Steakhouse

Start off with an Aussie-tizer like the famed Bloomin' Onion. It's an epically large onion that is cut to resemble a flower, then deep fried and served with Outback's spicy signature bloom sauce. While that's large enough to feed your whole table, if you can't decide between the other options then go for the Aussie Signature Sampler which has a bit of everything on it including Bloomin' Onion Petals, Steakhouse Mac n' Cheese Bites, and Aussie Cheese Fries. At Outback Steakhouse, you can choose from 7 different cuts of tender, juicy aged steaks, each one expertly prepared. You'll find filet mignon, New York Strip, Porterhouse, Prime Rib, Ribeye, and more with bold topping options should you wish like roasted garlic butter or blue cheese crumbles. While Outback Steakhouse does steaks the best, that doesn't mean the other items on the menu aren't worth trying. For lunch or dinner, sandwiches and burgers make for another filling and tasty option. You can also find seafood like lobster tails and shrimp. Enjoy them on their own or add them to your steak entree for a little bit more. The menu also features the popular chicken dish, Alice Springs Chicken, a wood-fire grilled chicken breast topped with sauteed mushrooms, crisp bacon, melted cheese and honey mustard sauce. Plus, there are baby back ribs and a pork porterhouse. After indulging in such a fine meal, make sure to save room for one more final indulgence with dessert. The dessert menu features 6 full dessert options as well as 2 mini parfait choices. Get a big dessert to share like the famous Chocolate Thunder From Down Under, a huge slab of pecan brownie topped with rich vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce, chocolate shavings and whipped cream.
