“If you want a good poke' place, look to Monarch Poke' ... this is one of the few places we frequent, we always grab Poke' Nachos here wether it be the garlic chili oil ahi and the furikake salmon Poke' Nachos, or just going for a simple California Poke' Bowl. They pack quite a punch to your hankering for food. As for me, my favorite thing to grab is their ube cheesecake. :)
So if you're in need of a good suggestion for poke' bowls other than your typical Foodland Poke' Bowls 🥣 this place is definitely on that map of suggestions. :D

“We went here twice for breakfast while staying at Aulani. It was a cheaper option, and the food was wonderful. The bacon jalapeno fried rice hit the spot without breaking the bank. We shared the fruit pancakes with that and were very satisfied. We walked, but there were a few parking spots.“

“I was staying at Residence Inn for 2 months. Met theses dude and tried the truck. Absolutely the best pizza I’ve had. Even compared to pizza I’ve ate in Italy. “Assaggio in Kapolei always has delicious and visually appealing food. The service is courteous, and they strive to provide a friendly atmosphere. The Bread is unbelievable I have to stop after the second basket due to the food I ordered. I tried the New York steak medium rare and the Shrimp Scampi. Everything was great and I definitely recommend them for your dining options.“

“For the first time I went here today and had a really yummy oat milk flat white. The service was excellent as was the coffee. The price however for a medium coffee was way too lunch indeed one of the most expensive in the world for anything relative. Just saying!“

“As you can imagine, the 'Ōlelo Room in Disney's Aulani is quite expensive. With that out of the way...the food was phenomenal. I had an Ube martini and steak bites that may have been the best steak I've ever had. We also got a sushi roll to share and it was so fresh and full of flavor. The service was great and made even better when our waiter got on stage and danced a hula. It was all so lovely that we went back a second time just for the steak bites...and had the macadamia old fashioned-definitely not my favorite- much too sweet for my liking.

Take the time to look around at the decor- 'Ōlelo means language and all around the room are people, animals, characters, etc and how to say them in Hawaiian. It's really creative.“

“Inasal chicken was so good. We were on the big island last week and I wanted some huli huli chicken but there was none. Came to Oahu and we could smell something grilling that was so good from the parking lot. Ordered the inasal chicken and noodles and both were delicious smokey goodness.“

“Like many other L&Ls the restaurant does look a little out of shape and run down but don’t let that fool you from coming. You will get fast service and very reasonably priced yummy food that’s packed full of flavor and handled by nice staff. It’s great to visit family in Hawaii once a year and go back to your favorites. “A great choice for a quick meal. I like a two choice plate. When I want to eat healthy, I get half brown rice and half super greens for my base, otherwise I like chow mein for my base. The Kung Pao chicken and Angus Pepper Sreak are great choices for healthy eating. Sometimes I'll mix it up with broccoli beef. Service is good, rarely very busy.“

“Pizza could easily take you a half hour from order to when it's in your hands. Half the time they don't call the numbers out so you're standing around looking like Travolta in Pulp Fiction trying to figure out if your next to get your pizza. The pizza is good though and even my Italian wife from the North East approves of the taste.“

“Huge Portions! You could tell that this was a family run restaurant which we were really happy to support. We tried a lot of of the different menu items, including the steak and chicken combo, musubi, and orange chicken. All of their food was delicious and the portions again were humongous. We probably could’ve fed our family of four with two entrée items.“
