Smoothie was great.“

“I rented a car and went as soon as it opened. There were 3 staff members and only one was Japanese, but all of them, including the non-Japanese staff, could speak Japanese, so communication was not a problem.I was able to sample 3 types of coffee and purchase my favorite coffee. The chocolate sample was delicious, so I bought it as well. “The food was delicious! We've been eating takeout for a while but this food tasted homemade. The seating outside has shade and the service was great. The two men behind the counter were very polite and friendly. Great experience all around! We had 4 omelets and a bagel sandwich“

“Excellent coffee and latte, excellent smoothie, excellent paninis. The pickles on the side were delicious. A little expensive, but pretty comparable pricing to everything else in Kona. Other places we ate were just as expensive and a little disappointing, Hungry Honu was not at all disappointing. Among all three sandwich and drink selections in our party, all were excellent.“

“We have been buying Royal Kona for a few years now, so it was nice seeing their harvesting center from the Kona coffee fields. They have a small visitor’s center which includes some history of the Kona mountain slopes where coffee is grown, a gift shop with some free samples of the coffee varieties, and a lava tube that the kids can walk to.“

“I love this place!!!! Having Waimea coffee at our Hotel entrance is sooo convenient. The young man that runs it I think his name is AJ, he is so sweet. They offer some amazing coffee choices and delicious breakfast or lunch burritos. I had both and liked both. I once decided to cheat and try coffee at another "Corner" place and it was a mistake I would not make again. Here the coffee is the correct strength, flavor and choices are unlimited. They can make anything to your liking. I will miss this coffee.“
