“My son and I saw your IG post for Christmas Eve Prime Rib Family Dinner and we quickly made a reservation. As we walked in we instantly became comfortable, the decor has a coziness to it, but it's all fresh,clean and new. I loved the chandeliers; the green couches look inviting if we had a wait. Everyone and everything was wonderful. We both had your No Buzz Mocktails; they were delicious! The meal was perfect, the Cesar salad i could have a plate of your house made garlic croutons. Our Service was excellent and incredibly friendly, everyone was working harmoniously. We have started a new tradition in our family with yours. “Gigi is a Master Cake Artist with a super fun personality!I chose Ghiselani Designer Wedding Cakes for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary because I loved how elegant and detailed Gigi's cakes are on her website. Once Gigi finished with our cake setup, the beauty of it literally took my breath away and I immediately became teary eyed because all the months of planning- phone conversations and text messages with Gigi that went into designing this cake finally became a reality!I really appreciated how responsive she was with me throughout the design process. I wanted to add on some things to the design a couple weeks prior to our event date and Gigi was very accommodating with that. Her attention to the small details on the cake were beyond spectacular. She surprised us with the center of our teal lilies spray painted with gold!The taste of the cake itself was phenomenal. It was light and very moist and the flavors of each layer was bold and tasted like the real deal. There were actual mango chunks and raspberry seeds in the two filling layers we chose which we loved!I also appreciated the other business referrals Gigi suggested to make this event one to remember. Go with Ghiselani Designer Wedding Cakes. She's truly the best!”

“If you live Upcountry like me, you already know — sometimes you just want a fat, juicy burger that hits just right. Stewz has become one of my go-tos for exactly that. Whether I’m grabbing a bite in Kihei or cruising through the Pukalani food truck scene, it’s the same solid burger every time: flavorful, stacked, and cooked with aloha.

The Kula Burger? Game changer. That chipotle lime aioli and avocado combo is doing way more than it needs to — in a good way. And don’t sleep on the onion rings or sweet potato fries. They’re crispy, golden, and make you feel slightly better about your choices (sweet potato’s basically a health food, yeah?).

Service is friendly, but you’re on island time here, so if there’s a line, just chill. Worth the wait. The Kihei spot has that open-air, breezy vibe perfect after a beach day, and the Pukalani truck is clutch when you’re craving something hearty Upcountry without heading too far down the hill.

Bottom line: Stewz is one of those places you recommend when someone says, “Where can I get a real burger on Maui?” It’s not trying to be fancy — just fresh, ono, and local-style dependable. And that’s more than enough for me.”
