Food was good. Service was friendly and helpful. The view is amazing and perfect.
We went for lunch yesterday before our trek into the craters. Jon was our server, and he was fantastic! He made several recommendations that elevated the food experience. The food was delicious and came out pretty fast. The view from the window table was one of the great memories we will save from our trip to the Big Island. We didn't not have high expectations, but it was far from a tourist trap in our opinion. We definitely recommend!
Love the Volcano burgers and BBQ pizza. Their Pina Coladas were yummy! Especially loved the view of the volcano crater! Will definitely come back!

The Rim offers a great meal with wonderful service and spectacular views of the crater. The unique view is a highlight, whether or not the volcano is erupting. The breakfast buffet is a favorite, not the biggest selection but good quality at a fair price. For dinner, the pasta receives mixed reviews, but the fish is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Other popular choices are the wings and burger, which are well prepared. The service is fast and courteous, perfect for families. Be cautious with the bill split, as it may lead to over-tipping.
