You go for the view - the restaurant is pretty tired, like the food. The service was decent - but definitely not a culinary destination. They also have an outside terrace you can view the crater.
Good food and great service. You absolutely cannot beat the view.
Incredibly cool to eat while watching the volcano. Window seat is a must! The food and drinks were both great. Massive missed opportunity by not having lava cake on the menu, but its chill.

The Rim offers a great meal with wonderful service and spectacular views of the crater. The unique view is a highlight, whether or not the volcano is erupting. The breakfast buffet is a favorite, not the biggest selection but good quality at a fair price. For dinner, the pasta receives mixed reviews, but the fish is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Other popular choices are the wings and burger, which are well prepared. The service is fast and courteous, perfect for families. Be cautious with the bill split, as it may lead to over-tipping.
