“Was visiting Maui for my birthday trip and on our last day, we decided to try some authentic local foods and I’m glad we did! I absolutely enjoyed Tasty Crust, enjoyed the friendly staff and enjoyed the locals! Definitely a hidden gem in Maui for tourists. “Chicken potstickers and coconut shrimp both very good. Fish tacos good - can’t say excellent as slightly overcooked and accompanying sauce was not the best I’ve had - a little under-flavored. That said, service was kind, courteous and *unobtrusive* and the view of the sunset cannot be beat. Beautiful setting! We will be back to sample more menu options - like the deep fried pickle chips.“

“I can’t speak highly enough of this stand. The hot dogs are delish (who knew there was a perfect ketchup to dog ration?!) the service is incredible and the seating vibe is fun and chill. We started coming over a few times a week after school, we have a hot dog, read a book, and finish up with shave ice cream“

“What a cute eclectic place. Very local feel. The people were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The bread was AMAZING...fresh baked with butter. We got the pork weiner schnitzel. It was crispy and so tasty with gravy, a salad and great augratin potatoes. Comfort food! Different and worth finding.“

“Overindulged! The joyful experience of our 36th anniversary dinner will be one that we’ll be chasing over and over again! We were overindulged from the moment we sat down at the table with the most beautiful view, surrounded by soothing live music. The care and concern from each and every staff member was evident, making sure that the best possible bottle of wine for our meal was chosen, that our water glass was never too empty, that each plate delivered was well executed and well presented and explained, when done each time dishes were taken away quickly, the pacing of the meal was well done, just everything and everything! Perfection! And a special note to Sasha- we already noted during our meal service- the finesse and skill you brought to the level of service was just outstanding! Kudos to you and to the team that supports you in making sure that each of your tables gets the attention that they deserve! To say that our anniversary dinner was memorable is truly an understatement! It will be that feeling of being so well taken care of and that every orchestrated element enhanced our celebration will be what brings us back over and over again. We already are making plans to come back and I know we will be coming back over and over again! With our deepest appreciation! …and then the food! Truly the best farm to table experience on Maui! From the amuse buche course(s!) that wet our appetite for more goodies to come. The locally sourced ingredients shined with their freshness and the finesse in which they were presented. Two highlights were the Maui onion soup presented with the perfect amount of cheese and puffed pastry topping- just perfectly seasoned. And then the Haleakala filet mignon, once again perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned and topped with compound butter that was melted at table side with rosemary. (It feels like we are saying perfect too much! But we do mean it!) Then to end the evening celebration with our chocolate lava cake surrounded by white and milk chocolate fondue with banana bread and fresh fruits was simply scrumptious! Chef Junior Ulep, Mahalo for our special night, with our deepest grateful hearts, we appreciate your mana and the joyfulness in which you have chosen to feed us and our fellow patrons at Kula Lodge Restaurant!“

The ramen was good when it was hot. Once it got cold, the noodles tasted like raw. I asked a smoothie of mango was really good.

“I cried good tears this morning. I've never in my life cried because of how divine the food was. I ordered the crab cakes benedict, usually when I order crab cakes it's a hash brown with little bits of crab meat but this one is purely crab and it was so fresh like it was caught in the early hours before restaurant opened. Eggs were cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce was heavenly. It was love on a plate, my compliments to the chef! Service was absolutely wonderful, lovely and welcoming ladies. They were very attentive and efficient. Mahalo nui loa! 🌺“

“It's a bummer that they don't have musubi anymore (bring it back?), but my favorite thing to get when I'm flying out of OGG is a hot dog from this place. I used to get a musubi AND a hot dog. Reliable and friendly, nothing fancy, it's exactly what a hot dog truck in an airport ahould be.“

“Really hearty food and a reasonable price. Super friendly staff. An easy going casual place for a good meal. Not fancy! The only reason I gave 4 stars on the atmosphere is because it was really chilly in the dining room. Too cold for me! But the food and everything else was excellent!“

“Rays is the place to be if you just want to relax and have a few drinks and amazing pupus or even dinner after a long day at work or maybe a night out with your friends . I went in on a Sunday night with a few of my girls... We had an amazing time . the owner Sandy ... Was the sweetest & her food is the BOMB.COM ... Hoku was our bartender and I have to say , her drinks were ON POINT !!! She made us feel so at home and if we needed anything we knew she had our backs . We also found out later in the night when the karaoke system came on that Hoku also has a lovely singing voice . But all together rays is hands down definitely a go to on any occasion.“

“We almost didn't stop in because of the bad reviews, so we wanted to leave one for our positive experience!
Our bar tender, Seth, was very friendly and helpful. He gave us some guidance on our beer choices and entertained us while we waited for our flight.
The beer is cold, and the selection is fine. The wings were pretty good. It's airport food, so you pay a premium, but it's not completely outrageous.“

“While waiting for our flight, we tried the Cuban sandwich, which was fantastic! We also enjoyed a Mango Cart beer, which always hits the spot. It’s a great place for a quick bite at the airport, great ambiance and the service was excellent—especially the friendly bartender.“
