“Great chicken, lousy service. But hey this is a road side grab and go. Chioices are simple, either half or whole chicken. With or with out sides. Chicken had great flavor, fresh off the rotisserie. Rice and side salad were nice compliments.”

“Last night's Waikiki Block Party was packed and I ordered from this restaurant: lemongrass fried chicken and pad Thai (combo B) and the food was amazing! The lemongrass fried chicken was cooked to perfection; crispy, light batter, and juicy. The pad Thai was not dry an clumpy like other food stalls, but it was a little cold from being out. Otherwise, a very good takeout meal. I can only imagine what the restaurant experience is like.”

“Japanese style gyudon beef bowls in Pearl City. Located on Kuala Street next door to Starbucks in the strip mall that has Sams Club Gas and Walmart.

These guys used to be in the old Shirokiya back in the day. A bit pricey compared to beef bowls in Japan but were in Hawaii so live a little🤙They also opened another location in Kalihi but this one is easier to get to in terms of parking.

Go to is the Beef Ontama bowl or the Beef Bowl with Takoyaki. Filling and gets my gyudon fix👍They have the shichimi spice and the red ginger (kisami shoga) at the condiment table by the pick up window too.

“Just an excellent, local style food establishment. My favorite dish is the mochico chicken w/fried rice and side salad. The butter rolls w/sweet sour sauce is addicting!”

“It's a great comfort meal. Chicken tenders, addictive sauce, fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. I usually go for the 3 finger meal, but I'll go for the box 4 piece if I'm really hungry.”

“This is in a nice hidden small food court in H-Mart. The pastries were great, well made and flavorful. The coffee was far superior to Starbucks. This is my new favorite coffee shop. If you're looking for a great cup of joe, this is the place.

Be warned the coffee selection is limited but the flavor is great. I would recommend the Einspanner.”

“Mellow spot underground (if you can’t find it using Google Maps) with $3 Coors Light bottles. Locals, lots of TVs. They feed the cemetery cats and give them water which I like. Friendly people all around. Looks like it would be a fun spot to do karaoke.”

“If you're a fried chicken lover, definitely a must! I always order the original bonus fried Chicken. It's super crispy and stays crispy even when I have to do take out. Do yourself a favor and stop in and enjoy.”

“I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I've been eating here often since I moved nearby. The portions are big—$10 for a mini chicken BBQ plate is a great deal. Friendly staff and usually fast service. I recommend it!

“Located in the H Mart food court. This is a nice little eatery whether you want some dumplings, kimchi fried rice or a Korean style ramen. I suggest stopping in at lunch time it seems to rarely be crowded. The service was pleasant and helpful. The food was made with care and quality ingredients. The atmosphere, well you're in a grocery store food court, the word ambiance doesn't really apply.

Stop by and have some lunch, there are a few eateries in here and a small bar. So there is something for everyone.”
