“The bad reviews made me nervous but are here 2x bc the food was so good, and wish we could have another meal before leaving. The ahi nachos is a banger! Everything else was great too (from the tacos down to even the chicken fingers, and fruit), much better than your usual pool side restaurant along with the stunning views of beach/ocean. Food also came out reasonably quickly.“

“The food is exactly what you expect from L&L. Solid barbecue, done well, and just as good as any other L&L you’ve been to. They do run a more limited, modified menu here, though.
That said, the location right in the center of Hanalei makes it worth the stop. Sitting there, hanging out, and just watching the flow of people through town is part of the experience.
If you’re specifically looking for the full L&L menu, you’d probably be better off heading back to Kapaa where there are a couple of locations. But if you’re in Hanalei and want good barbecue in the middle of one of the best little towns on the island, it’s a great place to grab a bite.“

“Incredible food and good portions at a great price. I had the shrimp stir fry and it was cooked perfectly. Tons of fresh, crisp vegetables with just the right about of flavor. We also got the Seared Ahi plate and a Cheeseburger and they were delicious as well. Best Mac salad that I have had in Kauai this trip. We will definitely be coming back before we leave town!“
