“You should go just for the views alone! Like wow oh wow. If you go up on the second floor, stunning. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. The beer was closer to craft brews I'm use too!Don't forget the hot dog or sausage stand on the first floor patio. They also have beer crowlers to go and a gift shop.Recommend for a relaxing brew.”
“Stop for a quick bite on my way to Haleakala volcano. I ordered a burger, fries and a drink in the small restaurant. I was the only person there. The burger was freshly prepared in Stewz nearby food truck. I enjoyed the food at a picnic table in the garden overlooking Ma'aalaea Bay. It was a wonderful contrast to the crowded restaurants in Kihea. I highly recommend Stewz Burgers.”
“An absolute must-visit in Maui! Despite the hour-long drive to reach it, the experience was undeniably worth it. Be sure to make reservations in advance. While it leans toward the pricier end, the quality of the food is exceptional. Don’t miss out on their famous dessert – it’s a must-order! Personally, I couldn’t get enough of their delicious piña colada. As for main courses, I highly recommend trying their salmon.”
“A bit noisy because of the wooden floors and active bar making blended drinks. But the service and locally sourced food is superb. There are other table locations within the restaurant that are probably quieter than the one we chose right up front at the windows.”
“We came here more than a few times on our honeymoon/ wedding week in Maui. The food is amazing and the owners are so lovely! Definitely try the Chicken Katsu Panag Curry and the Aloha Fried Rice! So so good!”
“The restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with authentic Hawaiian cuisine served by a lovely family. The food was incredibly delicious! Highly recommended! Go try it!”
“The Fully Loaded French toast sent my taste buds into orbit! Everything was delish...French toast, POG slushie, coffee, omelettes! My family was pleased we drove the half hour to come check out Baked in Maui! Well worth it”
“Thanks to all Google Maps’ reviews that I was able to find this hidden place. Shave Ice is really delicious….smooth and creamy. Finding parking spot can be a challenge on a busy day but it’s worth it.”
“I'm still craving the Tacos! Everything was delicious, fresh, and hot. So many options, it was hard to choose only one item. Employees were friendly and welcoming. A tad salty but still amazing! Highly recommend!”
“We enjoyed this restaurant very much. With a party of 17 it can be a challenge to serve so many efficiently. The staff excelled at their jobs serving delicious plates quickly with Aloha. The sushi chef is superb and the whole atmosphere here was joyful and welcoming. A must try... the Ube Creme Brulee. I will definitely be back again and highly recommend others to give it a try too!”
“Tight Tacos are amazing! The staff is friendly, and their tacos are possibly the best I have ever had. We tried them all, and all are great! There was a place in San Felipe, MX that might have been better, but the owners retired years ago.Parking: Very small parking lot.Street parking available.Kid-friendliness: The kids loved it here! They loved the quesadillas, and the informal atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room and order window are very wheelchair accessible. The only non-accessible area is the salsa bar. That area is too narrow to navigate by wheelchair. The staff is friendly, and happy to get whatever you want from the salsa bar.”
“Delicious fresh seafood at an amazing price! Tried red snapper for the first time, recommended sautéed by the staff, and wow! The Cajun rice was really great and not spicy. Casual but top notch food!”
“We decided to grab a bite to eat before heading out on our trip to Hana. We ended up ordering a delicious breakfast burrito and a refreshing strawberry dream cream drink. Both were really tasty! Personally, I enjoyed both options, but my boyfriend thought the drink could have been a bit sweeter for his liking.”
“The area in which this food truck is located is beautiful, plenty of spaced out seating amongst the trees and potted plants. The price is a bit steep for what you get. The plating and presentation are great, however the flavor(s) seem to be missing. I can't quite put my finger on it. The best I can summarize is that the flavors seemed fresh but very simple. Wife loved it, me, not so much.”
“Super fresh and somewhat unique rolls. Ginger salad was really good along with Miso Phat roll and TNT roll. Best sushi we’ve had here for sure. Plan to wait though…super small interior.”
“It's da bomb (literally, that's what we got). It really is Mo Ono. The lady was working by herself and was busy, and was fast!! This good truck park is poppin, and these acai bowls are ”
“This place is tucked in, behind the Times grocery store, Nalu's is well worth, looking for. The food is amazing, the service is fast and the atmosphere, is open and comfortable. I had the best root veggie grain bowl, I've ever eaten. My husband had a poke dish that was cooked to perfection. Don't miss this place, it's a destination all on it's own.”
“So glad we found this restaurant. The availability of the classic kalua pork plate lunch is surprisingly low these days in Maui. We stopped here after landing since it's only like 10 min from the airport and it was BOMB! They post their menu every day on Insta. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
“Had a lovely attentive server, pizza was delicious, nice atmosphere. Weird to get pizza in Maui I guess but I had been eating seafood for 5 days and was ready for a change. Also it’s right next to Maui brewing making for a great date night.”
“Amazing bao buns!! We loved the Little Piggy & Crispy Shrimp and will definitely re-visit my next trip to Maui! Amazing service and the staff was also very kind.”
“Amazing food! I got the Poke Bowl with Fresh Yellowfin Tuna and it was delicious! My partner got their combo plate and it was equally yummy! The fern salad was a hit in both our meals! We ate so fast we forgot to take photos first!”
“Best coffee! It's well worth a stop. Very friendly and engaging owner. Definitely coming back next time in Maui! Try the Honey Cream or Vanilla Pistachio Latté.”
“The reviews don’t lie. The best donut spot in Maui! I strongly suggest trying maple+churro donut. The ladies were super nice. Provided great service and conversation. The only downside was discovering she’s a Green Bay Packer fan. Haha.”
“Stop here on Christmas eve, place was full and staff still handle it with grace. Super friendly, from waiter to kitchen, everyone had a smile and accommodating, food came out at a reasonable time. Had spicy tantan ramen, garlic shrimp and bread pupus, nice cold orion beer, and the pineapple creme brulee was to die for!The random menu threw me off at the beginning, pasta, ramen, pizza, what? I guess when you are a chef you are a chef :)Mahalos for being open, friendly and a delicious meal.”
“A very nice place with a great vibe. Had the poke and fish tacos, and they were both great. The owner is very engaging. Another couple had a small child with them, and the owner's interaction with him was, well, kind of heart warming! If you are in Maui, you gotta stop by.”
“My life has improved since experiencing the warmth of hospitality and incredible food at Nuka. My favorite spot on Maui. Already working it out so I can get back there soon.”
“This is a must when I visit my family in Maui. In November they were closed but I was able to get my fill on Friday. Cash Only, Be prepared to take cash. Prices went up but still a reasonable cost. 3 scoops for about $3.50. Family owned business and the service is always so nice. Be prepared to stand in line by family outside. Which is good for a small business.”
“Delicious food with great service! The manager and staff helped to make a very memorable experience for a 15 year old's birthday. Extra special kudos to Pizza Guy! Mahalo Black Rock Pizza staff!”
“Ordered 2 steak empanadas and the mango pineapple lemonade. Both were exceptionally delicious. Not sure if the crust was homemade or a store bought disc, but it was the best one I ever had outside of home. Excellent food!”
“My wife and I dropped in for a mid-afternoon lunch. We were happy with the cleanliness of the place, and it is nice and bright. The specials were posted outside and the Kalei's Bento sounded great. We got it and a chop salad with no protein to split. It came with Mochiko Chicken, Prawns, Beef, and Macaroni Salad. We wished we hadn't got it to split... Wow was it good - every bite was excellent! The staff were friendly and greeted everyone as they came in the door. The were happy to answer questions about the food for those not familiar with it. We'll be back!Parking: The shopping area parking is free and plentiful when we were there.”
