“Alex gave us a tour and showed us how the coffee is produced. That was super interesting and great. Alex was super nice and took a lot of time for us. We also drank the delicious coffee. Absolutely recommended! Just take the delicious coffee for home with you!”

“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Discovered Mele Mele Bakery by happy accident during one of their open mic nights—and it’s been a sweet love affair ever since (pun very much intended). This place is a charming mash-up of cozy, quirky, and cool. It’s got that laid-back local vibe that makes you feel instantly at home, whether you're here for the kava, the heavenly baked goods (seriously, their pastries should be illegal), or just to soak in some tunes. They’re not a vegan bakery, but they don’t leave plant-based folks out in the cold—there’s always a small, solid selection of vegan goodies that actually taste good (you know what I mean). Bonus points: they serve locally produced honey, they’re totally dog-friendly, and you’ll likely spot a few kids dancing along to the music while their parents sip kava like it’s their new favorite ritual (because it might be). I had an unforgettable evening here recently when my son performed at their Friday open mic. Watching him play to such a warm, supportive crowd while the smell of fresh bread filled the air…well, let’s just say this place has officially baked itself into my heart. If you're looking for good vibes, better bites, and a community feel that doesn’t feel forced—Mele Mele is your spot.”
“Ummm the chunky monkey banana ice cream sandwich?? Life changing. My wife and I would do unspeakable things for another. Unfortunately we live outside the area where they are sold. But one day soon!!”

“We went there with a friend whom recommended the place amd honestly...we were blown away. Everything was as close to perfection as anyone could desire. Family restaurant and the atmosphere is just excellent. They treated us like friends and the food was way,way better than we expected. I am trained in cooking and I can affirm that they put every possible effort in get the best ingredients, preparation, presentation and as fast and good as possible. The decoration is just awesome too. Would go there every week if I lived there permanently.”

“I’m not usually a fan of shave ice, started with one bowl for my daughter. Omg. The flavours are amazing, natural Ingredients for the syrup instead of food colouring and artificial flavours. Went back for 2 more bowls! This place is amazing. Kudos to the team. Keep it up.”

“First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.”

“This was a nice little place to visit. I'm not personally a coffee drinker, but I did try some samples. It was pretty good! We bought some coffee for the coffee-drinkers in the Family. I really wish they would have given some type of a brief presentation of how coffee is grown and the process for turning it into coffee grounds.”

“So good! Driving up to the North Shore from the airport we wanted something local. Family owned. No frills just awesome chicken. So juicy. We all had sandwiches and the pulled chicken is more like chunks with some pulled. Not overly shredded. And not doused with sauce. Just a nice enhancement. We had the melts and they were delicious. The bread is crusty but soft inside. An easy bite. And my son loved his Cajun fries. Off street parking in the rear.”
