“The food is delicious. I had the Kalua Pork and cabbage. Portions are appropriate for the money. In fact, I took the rest to go and got two meals out of it. I appreciate the casual, yet quality, approach of the restaurant and that it is local vibes rather than tourist. There were a number of flies during our entire time eating inside the restaurant.“

“Can’t really say to much about the service and atmosphere because it was take out but staff was friendly and we revived our food In a timely way. The kalua nachos are great, the cheese and ingredients are mixed throughout the nachos and not just stack in top leaving nothing on the bottom like other places. Would recommend.“

“We went here twice for breakfast while staying at Aulani. It was a cheaper option, and the food was wonderful. The bacon jalapeno fried rice hit the spot without breaking the bank. We shared the fruit pancakes with that and were very satisfied. We walked, but there were a few parking spots.“

Although the best breakfast buffet I found was at Four Seasons Bangkok. Fresh juices are served here. A bit disappointing that they do not serve any breakfast steak or some sort of....“

Should’ve visit tropics more often when I was stationed back there but overall it was a great experience and took advantage what tropics had to offer. “The portions here are decent! I got the 3 meat plate, my partner got the pulled pork sandwich combo. Beef brisket was soft and delicious. Even the chicken breast was the most moist I've ever had it. The ribs were okay. Everything was very filling and flavorful. Definitely recommend as this is the closest thing in Hawaii I've experienced to Texas BBQ, and in my opinion the price isn't bad considering we are on an island and all. Only thing I didn't like was the salt, but everything had plenty of flavor to be eaten without it. Really enjoy the fries here since they seem to be actual potato fries.“
