“Roy’s is one of my favorite restaurants on Oahu, they have multiple locations. We always eat here while staying in Ko Olina, it is located at the clubhouse for the golf course. We love Roy’s for their fish items. The Sashimi Trio, Kagoshima Hamachi Crudo, and Seared Day Boat Scallops are our favorites. The scallops were from Hokkaido and delicious. I had the Misoyaki Marinated Butterfish and loved it. The drinks here are also great, I’d recommend the Toki Highball. Reservations are recommended but we generally can find a spot here. There is plenty of parking and plenty of other options on the menu aside from fish. Once you are sat they always bring out sesame oil seasoned edamame which is a great touch. The service is always terrific, the staff is very friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a try.“

“This is by the Kapolei theaters, the older one. We came on a Saturday after noon a little after lunch around 230pm and it was empty...just how I like it lol the workers were nice to greet us and the place was really clean. The place was pretty spacious I must say. Our server took out orders and always filled our waters. You cannot beat ordering the combo meal. I got the mini ramen with black garlic which was additional. My sides were takoyaki and mini curry. I must say, the mini curry wasn't mini it was pretty regular size looking lol I couldn't finish most of it so we took it home and had it for dinner. Everything tasted great! I did however take down a star because we ordered gyoza but the server did not mention anything about getting free gyoza during their happy hour until we paid and got in our car and seen the window display. Our fault also we should've looked prior.“

“Really good spot in Kapolei. My friend and I were able to get seated right away. The happy hour was also going at the time and we had the garlic fries and fried mushrooms with some light beer. It was really good. For the entree I had the Fried Noods which was really yakisoba but it was good as well.“
“En Fuego catered my wedding and we loved their food! All the guests were raving about it. They worked with us to specialise the menu we needed for our budget and guests’ dietary needs. They were a little hard to get a hold of at first but very responsive during the planning process. Highly recommend the garlic chicken, I’m still dreaming about it!“

“10/10, would recommend - came with a party of 6 during rush, they got us in in around 30 minutes.Food is great - make sure you know how to cook it! Recommendation for first time KBBQ-ers is to cook things one dish at a time in the middle, as that’s where most of the heat is.Wait staff are amazing. Genuinely don’t think this place would be as good as it is without the amazing people here. Our server was amazing, made sure our glasses were full, grill was clean, and food stocked up. Be nice to them or I’ll drop kick you off the coast“

“Gry-Kaku is a good Japanese BBQ. It probably isn't the best on island, but It offers a great option outside Waikiki, and a particularly good option for the west side of Oahu.In addition to ala cart ordering, Gry-Kaku offers 3 different levels of all-you-can-eat items (the 2nd and 3rd tier options overlap, so you can ultimately choose from something like 85 items. I recommend the Tier 1 AYCE if you're unsure or are interested in sampling the menu, or getting to know more about the cuisine. The restaurant dining room could probably use a dusting, a paint job, and some minor drywall touch ups, but all in all, it's a good meal.Kid-friendliness: We brought our 2 kids (4 & 6), and after a quick explanation of the danger of the open grill, they were fine. They liked watching the BBQ, and loved roasting their own s'more over the fire!“

“I came here for the first time last week and i had to come here again and i introduced my husband and son to this place. The menu is extensive and there's something on there for everyone! Food is made fresh upon order and the portion size is perfect. The first time i came here, i shared a steak well done and shrimp canton with my dad and i loved the dish! The steak was tasty, topped with gravy and sautéed onions and the shrimp canton had the red dipping sauce drizzled on top, all on a bed of rice. Everything was tasty!!!!!! My first time here i tried their gaugee, so good!!!!! and bao buns by itself, so tasty!!!! The second time i came here i tried their minute chicken and asked them if they could burn it a little and they did just that, that was also delicious. I ate their golden house fried rice, that was yummy too!!!!! Everything so far was tasty and I will be coming back again and again. They serve small plates if you don't want to eat too too much. Highly recommend everyone to check this place out if you haven't already. There is a bit of a wait if there's already a lot of people but not too bad. Great lunch/dinner place that's inexpensive!!!!!“
