“This is such a gem when staying at the large resorts w the huge buffets and sometimes slow crowded dining. You can stop here and have a cocktail w a view at sunset or a coffee and $10 egg/bacon breakfast, breakfast burrito w the paper in the morning...nice alternative if you need a quick something that’s not such a commitment price/time wise .“

“I loved the food. We ate at the bar and enjoyed the conversation of bartender Brandon. He was entertaining and attentive. We had the lobster tacos, poke bowl and shrimp cerviche. All were delicious. The margarita was a scrumptious desert. The lantern ceremony was also beautiful.“

“On the beach at the Mauna Kea resort. The restaurant will validate your parking and you can go hang out on the beach afterwards or order take out while you’re on the beach. We got the poke, cesar salad with mahi, and a burger. All of it solid - but pricey, but you know that at a resort. Service is great and you can’t beat the view. Try the frederico which is a Mai tai with whiskey in it.

Overall not bad for above average beach food - just pricey. Would recommend for convenience if you’re going to hang out at the Mauna Kea beach.“

“One of our favorite places we've been in recent memory. We celebrated our 6th anniversary here and everything from the food to the ambiance to our server, Jakob, was incredible! This is such a gorgeous spot for a romantic dinner and the Ribeye was possibly the best steak we've ever had. Highly highly highly recommend!“
