My husband and I stayed several days for his 50th birthday. Surprise to us at check-in they had upgraded our room to an oceanfront room.., completely complimentary. It was hands down the best experience we have ever had. From the friendly staff, to the amazing meals and all the beautiful views inside and outside the resort. Mahalo! Mauna Lani!
100% Recommend. The layout of this resort is brilliant. Staff is amazing. Some of the staff have been here since inception, 42 years!
The good: food was outstanding. Setting couldn’t have been better. Service was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, if a little contrived / complain. Server continued to refer to us by our last name throughout. Every dish was very good to excellent.
The bad: prices are eye watering high. I live in NYC, which is known to be pricey but prices here were outrageous. Dinner w tax / tip for four, $555. Before you say oh well wine / beer etc, nope, we only drank water. Entrees...read full review
