Frida Taqueria Reviews
Absolutely fantastic food! Everything from the service, staff, food and atmosphere!! Best Mexican food we have had since living on this island hands down!!
Been seeing this on my uber eats offers for weeks and figured why not try this place in person. While finding it in the lot was a tad hard at first this place is worth it and then some. For a legit hole in the wall spot their menu is definitely the most expansive on the island from nachos to postres and drinks. I ended up getting a carne asada fries, California burrito, and a horchata all benchmarks I use to try places. I debated getting fried ice cream too but I'm glad I didn't...read full review
Great food and service. The portion sizes are shrinking but good costs are way up. One of the few good Mexican food restaurants that doesn't skimp on the seasoning.

Frida Taqueria is a small Mexican restaurant on Oahu that offers authentic Mexican food and friendly customer service. The cozy space has about four tables inside, creating an intimate atmosphere. The flavors are rich and delicious, making it a good place for those wanting real Mexican taste. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Rozelle, who provides excellent service. The menu includes tasty tacos like Asada, carnitas, and chicken, with good-sized portions and reasonable prices. The Asada is particularly good—not chewy or dry, but full of flavor. The restaurant has a cool Frida Kahlo theme that adds to its charm. Although parking can be limited, the vibrant decor, flavorful food, and welcoming service make it popular. Customers love the banana loca and oreo cheesecake desserts, and the Cali burrito, horchata, and chocolate flan are also highly recommended. The shrimp taco is especially praised for its tasty shrimp and good sauce, prompting repeat visits. The Birria tacos are also a hit, with cilantro-forward flavor and delicious consomé for dipping. The street tacos are small but flavorful, perfect for quick bites. The fried ice cream is nice for sharing, and the street corn (esquites) is creamy and tasty. Overall, despite its size, Frida Taqueria leaves a big impression with its authentic, flavorful offerings.
