“Food was consistent with previous Panda Express experiences. This is our first time at the store. Our order was incorrect, and after some effort and dialogue, it was corrected. Rice must be ordered separately.

Ambience frenetic.

Bathrooms are clean. Take note that traffic is one way around the building. Location is convenient.

“Great service, my dad and I went and they explained how ordering worked and even gave us 2 whole boiled eggs on the house. This tops every asian restaurant in Ankeny i’ve been to. You definitely get what you pay for, portions are out of this world and food is fresh and home made. Highly recommend!“

“We stopped in here for some grub before a long drive back to eastern Iowa. If you’re not eating here, you should be. Every single dish we ordered came out piping hot and fresh. All the flavors were on point and nothing was lacking. It so quiet in the dining area, a welcome relief after being in a loud amusement park for two days. This is the best Chinese food I have had in almost 8yrs. Have been looking for a decent place since leaving Illinois and I finally found it…2 1/2 hrs from home :( well worth it and will become our go to place when we are in this area from now on.“

“Oh my word!!! The best Chinese food in the midwest!!! The rice was fresh the ? beef was phenomenal! I never had broccoli beef without having to add soy sauce since I was a child! The beef egg roll looked more like a spring roll buy still sooooo flavorful!! The crab ragoon was creamy!! The potstickers were dry but very yum!! Moo goo gai pan was delightful fresh ingredients. The spicy hot oil was perfect!! The hot and sour soup was spicy but fresh. The egg drop soup was the clearest most flavorful best tasting I have ever had! Great job Mr. Egg Roll!!“

“Ordered for delivery and the app was easy to use and quoted an hour for delivery. Before I could finish vacuuming and she was knocking on my door. This lady was so sweet!!! Now the food was... It was amazing! I ordered Mongolian beef and chicken with veggies. The egg rolls were perfect, light crispy and full of goodness. Both entrees were fantastic. “Probably one of my favorite restaurants in Des Moines but hands down the BEST Asian food around! Been eating here almost 10 yrs and never been disappointed. One of the best vegan/vegetarian options too! Their tofu is the best crispy fried I’ve ever had! Also great quality meat as well! Cannot go wrong with any dish here! My favs are the spring rolls and Evil chicken!“
