“Food was consistent with previous Panda Express experiences. This is our first time at the store. Our order was incorrect, and after some effort and dialogue, it was corrected. Rice must be ordered separately.

Ambience frenetic.

Bathrooms are clean. Take note that traffic is one way around the building. Location is convenient.

“Had it on our list for Ankeny Chinese restaurants and so glad we tried it. Small place, 3 big tables. Very attentive staff. Recommended good combos. Fair priced food. Can’t beat 4 crab rangoons for $2.50! The packaging is super cute and high quality. They cooked the food after we ordered it so we waited maybe 5-10 minutes but it was piping hot when they delivered it to our table. Will 100% be back again. So glad we found this Ankeny gem!“

“Good food, always fresh in my experiences with eating here. Doesn't cost a lot, and if you go away hungry from their buffet, it's your own fault. Would recommend to anyone. Also I've never been grossed out by the bathroom. That's a big bonus for me. After using the restroom I like coming out feeling relieved and clean not ready to shower as soon as I get home...cause eewwwww.... “Ordered for delivery and the app was easy to use and quoted an hour for delivery. Before I could finish vacuuming and she was knocking on my door. This lady was so sweet!!! Now the food was... It was amazing! I ordered Mongolian beef and chicken with veggies. The egg rolls were perfect, light crispy and full of goodness. Both entrees were fantastic. Definitely the best I have had in the Ankeny area in the past. Thank you for doing a great job on customer service and quality😊“

“They have great food. Ive eaten around and its mostly all good, but ive been wanting garlic chicken like it used to be... CHUNKS not slabd. Its made IMO using dark meat as well whereas the other is just slabs of dry, overcooked breastfeeding meat...

“We stopped in here for some grub before a long drive back to eastern Iowa. If you’re not eating here, you should be. Every single dish we ordered came out piping hot and fresh. All the flavors were on point and nothing was lacking. It so quiet in the dining area, a welcome relief after being in a loud amusement park for two days. This is the best Chinese food I have had in almost 8yrs. Have been looking for a decent place since leaving Illinois and I finally found it…2 1/2 hrs from home :( well worth it and will become our go to place when we are in this area from now on.“

I ordered wonton soup, hot tea and tomato catfish! 😋
My host was attentive and quick.
The soup was delicious and had a tasty broth, vegetables and a good amount of wonton! Not just dough, thick and meaty wonton!

“Just went here for my bday dinner last night with family (was a little worried due to reading prior reviews) and all 7 of us had an excellent experience! Bar tender was friendly and did a great job, and the wait staff served happily and quickly. Chef did a great job and entertained and engaged us, while we had delicious food at the hibachi grill. It was a great outing!“

“I love the limited time beyond orange chicken ~ I wish it was forever. However even when I had it cooked fresh it was way too crispy ~ almost hard. Overall it tasted good and I would eat it again. Just wondering if the cooking method was tweaked since they had it last time. Overall I wish there were more vegan options. Love the service, atmosphere, food needs tweaked a little however.

“We picked up Togo tonight, and it was phenomenal! We got 2 entrees and 3 appetizers for less than $50!

The food was great. The online ordering was super convenient, and we picked a little later pickup time so we could get the kids to bed, and when I showed up early, it wasn't quite ready yet. It's nice when a place honors the time you requested so you know the food is fresh.

I forgot what a cool looking place it is. It was very clean and the owner was the one that helped me. This place is seriously delicious! If you need Chinese in Ankeny, this place to go!
