“I ordered the shrimp basket and my husband ordered the brisket sandwich special. Both were delicious. I got 10 large shrimp and tons of fries. Our waitress was very friendly, checked back on us a couple times, service was excellent. Picture is what I had leftover from my $14 basket.“
“Unclear still about being refused service? Is it for living with a black man, working for the competition, substituting for pool league. My audio recorded conversation has define that discrimination covers race, religion, politics, etc...i am a 50 year old white man that helps pay the bills and enjoy good company. Please don't think that i am treated any different than any other patron.“
“My boys and I visited Legacy Lanes this past weekend for an NEYBP Bowling Tournament. This was one of the BEST experiences that we have had at an alley. While there were a couple of very normal lane issues, really, overall, the lanes ran and played great! When there was an issue, the owner was quick to get it fixed so that we could keep moving. The food was SO GOOD! We are so use to nasty, fried, bowling alley food and that is not what we found here. The staff was friendly, attentive, kind and overall we just really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for a wonderful experience and God Bless you all!“
“Heard about this place on the radio. I think it’s criminal I haven’t been here before. The atmosphere is like a local diner mixed with a pub and stocked with the coolest people. Everyone was really nice and the service was some of the best I’ve ever had. For the food it is important to note they partner with local farmers and let me tell you, you can tell. The beef is definitely top quality. First I started with my favorite drink and got a White Russian. Did not disappoint very well balanced. I had to try two of their burgers and even though I’m in pain from eating too much it was worth it! I tried their Coalition Burger and don’t forget the peanut butter. The egg and bacon were cooked very well. I asked for a fried egg and the cook didn’t kill it which was a breath of fresh air. I got it on the Texas toast but it does come on a brioche bun normally. I also got the potato salad which was a gamble since I don’t normally like potato salad outside of Moms’ but again exceeded my expectations. For the second burger I got the squealing gangster. The aioli sent it over the top! The combination of the aioli, beef, and Canadian bacon was delicious to say the least. I may live 30 min away but I tell you what I bringing my friends here! Have so much more I NEED to try! Do yourself a favor and stop in!!!!“
“Great food!! Had the chicken -fried steak with mashed potatoes & gravy. Very good, not overly salted. It was served with green beans which were very good. Hubby had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich & fries, and LOVED it!! We'll definitely come back!!“
“Such a fun cool bar with history! Everybody knows your name type of feel with wonderful staff! Good food also! Recommend chicken bacon ranch pizza! Great place to stop while touring these small communities in northeast Iowa! Would be a nice motorcycle ride into town!“
“Not the best bar I've ever been to, but the bartender was very friendly, the owner seemed friendly, they had restrooms, an ATM machine, and their prices seemed fair. I went to this place with 2 friends just to see how they would be received. The bartender was nice to them and they were treated very well. They are a good small town bar. Recommended.“
“OH. EM. EFFING. GEE. You GUYSSSSSS. We’re from Wisconsin. Came down to lovely Anamosa to see some friends tomorrow, and we asked them where we should go for supper in a “bar like” atmosphere. And there was ZERO question… Tucker’s Tavern. And let me just share this:.. #1. Jessica is the BOMB EFFING DIGGITY. #2. Your thin crust pizza is MIND BLOWING. #3. You need to open an establishment in Bloomer, WI!For real. Amazing! Hands down!“
