“Americana at its best. This is the definition of a classic dive bar. I was with 3 others guys and we all loved our food; 3 of us had burgers, perfectly cooked with great toppings, the fourth had the Philly, and he said it couldn’t have been any better. This was a hot Iowa summer day, and the temperature outside was almost as hot as the bartenders. Oh yeahhh!“
“What a wonderful throwback restaurant. It takes you back to supper clubs of the 50's and 60's. Great salad bar with lots of variety. They even had home-made cinnamon rolls and brownies. Our server (Laura-Laurie) was fantastic. My wife and I had the prime rib (excellent!). My sister had the filet mignon and her husband had the ribs. We were all very pleased with the entire experience!“
“The appetizers and pizza are the main attraction. Those were fantastic. The staff was great and the order came out quickly. The burgers on the other hand were your typical gas station type bland with cheap buns.We will definitely be back, but will stick to the apps and pizza.“
“Nice place for a quick bite to eat. Had the 2 pc. Cod dinner. The fish was great, and was served with a large portion of hashbrowns and some coleslaw. Also had them add cheese and onion to the hashbrowns. The food was served quickly, was nice and hot, and very good. The coleslaw was creamy, and very good. We were happy we stopped by!“
“Staff is always helpful and friendly! I love having options from multiple breweries. Seating is clean and cozy. I have started coming here more often for Textile brews, rather than their tasting room in Dyersville. The bartenders are MUCH more helpful and friendly. I tend to spend more when there's a variety to taste and I feel so welcomed!!!!“
