“Love love love this shop, the staff are very friendly & helpful. I actually live in Auckland but visit wanganui about 4 times a year, & I always pop in here, they have so many beautiful things & at reasonable prices too. I always end up buying something. Even when I'm not in wanganui, if I see something I like posted on there fb page...I send my mum in who lives in wanganui.“

“Very good food and cheesecake. I wish they had some of their lent specials on their daily menu and not just as specials every so often though. Their shrimp po boy and seafood basket are amazing but so rarely available. Otherwise I can't complain my kids and husband are always happy with their food as well.“

“Good food, great prices, friendly service, clean, family owned. Cafe on one side and walk through to the bar next door. So bring the family or come with your posse. A stones throw from Blackhawk lake. Very nice for us locals and a nice day trip for those looking for a nice afternoon in western Iowa. I've been there many times over the years and never been disappointed.“

“Went here on a Sunday at 1pm with my family in laws. We had burgers, smothered tots, drinks, chicken strips, and such. It was good bar food. The burgers and fries were good, the tots great, the drinks strong, and the staff friendly. Has a great outdoor area for eating al fresco. Cute as heck decor in the bathrooms and yes I did check out the dudes bathroom. We will be back. Be sure to tip your servers here they are all kind and friendly. The Bar is a keeper!!“

“Was spending the night next door so walked over for dinner. I had the walleye fish broiled with Cajun seasoning. It was excellent. Sat at the bar and bartender was friendly. The salad bar was okay. The lettuce was old and limp and seemed as if it had been sitting out for a bit.“

“We were there during RAGBRAI so there was a very limited menu with the overwhelming number of guests. The staff was courteous friendly and efficient. Ambiance was what I expected for a small town bar. I would like to try this place again without the RAGBRAI crowds, if I am ever in Carroll again. I would recommend.“

We ordered 1 strawberry & 1 caramel Cheesecake to go an recieved 1 cherry with 1 caramel. Discouraged We did not receive what was ordered.“
