“I wish I could remember our waiters name because he was so incredibly kind! I brought in my kids and their friends for a birthday supper tonight as a last minute change of plans and I’m so glad I did. Not only was the food a huge hit (they all said best they’ve ever had) and the service incredible.. he rounded up a group of staff to sing Happy Birthday to my kids (as a last minute request from me) and the entire restaurant ended up joining. I was already a repeat customer but even more so now. Thank you thank you thank you for making their 14th birthday just a bit more special!“

“we are long time patrons of Applebee's, mostly at the Cedar Falls location. the food is top notch, and the service is awesome. to night we were blessed to have Mady (manager) and Saturn as our hosts. They were busy tonight but never let our glass go dry or our food to be late. These two ladies did an awesome job and employees such as these two keep us coming back.“

“Culver's has good food and a wide selection of options. In additon to burgers and chicken I like the fish sandwiches-they are made with a thick filet. Frozen custard is a richer form of ice cream and they have a flavor of the day if don't know know what you want. Friendly staff. Food cooked to order.“

“After we were seated, it took a while to be served, and before we could order. The food was great, and the atmosphere was spot on. They have a nice vibe with old gas pumps and ski ball! “Normally our time goes well when we go to Brass Tap in Cedar Falls. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience on our most recent visit, Friday June 7th, 7:00pm. We went for dinner fully expecting it to be busy, which was fine. We sat at the bar for 10 minutes, while the lead bartender lady and trainee COMPLETELY IGNORED US. The bar was dirty, and needed wiped down. A nice waiter finally came, asked us what we wanted to drink, and gave us food menus. Unfortunately he did not return to take our orders. I did look at the menu for a while, but still come back to check on us. We are now 30 minutes into our experience, and the bartender, along with the girl she is failing to train behind the bar, still have not said a thing to us. My boyfriend asks the women if we can order, and the lead bartender walked away, didn't say a word, and left the trainee to fend for herself. It was very clear she needed help. We eventually got our food order in. The food came out fast for how many people were there. It was cooked well, and we took home what was left over. I had to ask for our silverware, napkins, refill, and check. Not once did the lead bartender talk to us. Not once did we get checked on. We asked for everything we needed. Just crazy how she could talk to everyone around us, but not us. Not a word. The trainee was super nice, but it was very clear no one was training her. We will be back, because my boyfriend loves that place. We will NOT be at the bar, and really hope the service is better next time.“

“We come to peppers frequently and today we had a waiter named Jake that provided us amazing service! He was on top of everything and even offered us an extra sauce cup to take home with the rest of our meal that was left over. The food was great too!“

“We arrived at 3:30 today and it was packed! Got seated in about fifteen minutes and had the best service, even with all their business. Our waitress Meghan was the sweetest, and a couple of the staff thanked us on the way out! Our food was absolutely delicious! The only complaint I have, which actually isn't, is that I ordered my steak medium-rare and it arrived medium. It was still buttery and tender! Recommend 10 out of 10!“

“Have lived in CF for a year, and have tried all the normal places people tell you to try for pizza.

I wish I would have found this a year ago. Thin crust Tony’s Special was outstanding. We also ordered the NY-style pizza, vegetarian.

One of the things I miss about living in a bigger city is good food options. We have a handful of good restaurants in CF, and this is one of them. Best pizza in CF, and one that would do well in a big city.

Last, thin crust pizza has egg in the batter, if you have allergies. The NY style does not, and is safe for people with egg allergies.

“This place has it all. Fun place to hang out. Great food! Cold drinks. It was afternoon and I had not had lunch, I was thinking about a burger but asked the bartender, his recommendation. He said the burrito and curly chips for the side, great choice! It was so good, burrito had so much flavor and the chips were perfect. Just what I need today. Five star. I will back again and again!“
