“Had such a fun girls night out with friends and ended up at The Spot! They had a live band playing and they were amazing. We enjoyed some delicious BonBons tacos paired with ice-cold beers, and even played a few rounds of darts and pool. Great food, great music, and great company! can’t beat that!“

“Hadn’t been here for about five years and the only thing that changed was the side the brunch items were located. The food was still very good and the staff was outstanding. Emma was our server and she was very attentive to all the tables she was responsible for. Highly recommend and please check out the specials they have throughout the week.“
“So I wanted to give a shout-out to Kelsey in the floral department and to Mervin? the delivery driver. I ordered some flowers and cookies to be delivered to my daughter this morning. The flowers were delivered, but not the cookies. I called and talked to Kelsey in the floral department and even though she had just started her shift she said that she would check into it. She found out what happened and had the delivery driver Mervin deliver the cookies to my daughter. And t“

“Bar has great service, help in every aisle.“
“Michael and Ed at Hyvee on E Kimberly in Davenport catered our wedding on October 1st. We would recommend their company for your catering needs! They were on time, professional, and budget friendly. We appreciated the extra services they provided: helping us build a layout for the reception hall, providing table ware, and packing our food in the fridge. We feel that ease of communicating with the company could be improved. We also had a buffet style wedding with a server present. The server did not serve the food, however, we did hear him tell guests how much they could serve themselves. Overall, we were pleased with the services provided.“

“Food is very good and always has a home cooked taste. A very relaxing environment to talk to one or many friends at the same time depending on the occasion. We have all stopped for a drink or sandwich and it turns into a great time with friends and family, and many great memories made.“

“Truly miss this place being in Rock Island! The view was much better! Still the best daiquiri's around the QCA! There was a paint party going on so it was a bit loud but tolerable. Not the usual music vibe we like but we will never stop coming here!“

“First time there today! Amazing food, service and the best music! Thank you! Exactly what we needed and we’ll be back soon!“
“Ok so this place is kinda beat up during the daylight but I can imagine it gets better looking and more lively as the sun sets.
They had good deals and the entertainment outside the front window(crackheads) was enough to keep us in here for 45 minutes or so. The bartender was friendly and the owner regaled us with stories of a cracked out Lizzo lookalike dancing nude on the corner, so we were truly entertained. Sounds like this corner is a hotspot for gaping at the local fun squad. Not very irish in my opinion no irish food no tap Guinness....
Views 9.5 drinks were cold and cheap so also 9.0 atmosphere inside at 3 pm a bit stale so 6.0 and conversation 9.0. So 8.0 overall.“

“You’ve really gotta hit Gypsy at least once every time you’re in the Quad Cities. I mean, where else are you getting a legitimately great hamburger and amazing Thai food under the same roof? Nowhere I’ve been, that’s for sure. In fact I have never experienced a bar / restaurant quite like this. My experience there has just been… different. The name really fits—gypsies were travelers, learners, storytellers—and this place has that same vibe, like a bunch of interesting characters drifting together into one warm, lively little scene. It's open enough to where you can have these conversations with people. I’ve sat in this bar a dozen times, which is wild for me. I don’t usually stick around anywhere that often. But this place feels comfortable in the way most bars don’t. It feels safe. The crowd’s chill, the energy’s easy, the staff feels like a little family, the music always matches the mood, and the toys on the wall are basically a shrine to rock’s greatest eras. And the staff? Super approachable. They actually talk to people—real conversations, not the standard “How’s everything?” fly-bys. They’re a genuine part of the whole experience. You’ll even catch the owners hanging out with everyone like we’re all in some cool, low-key clubhouse we stumbled into together. If you come to the Quad Cities and skip Gypsy’s live music night or open mic night… honestly, I’m not convinced you’ve actually experienced the Quad Cities at all.“
