“I had the pleasure of eating at Flavors of India for the first time this afternoon. I am incredibly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious! The entire meal, including Samosas with mint and tamarind sauce, chicken tikka masala and dessert was superb. Plenty of seating, inviting atmosphere, friendly & polite service, extremely clean, received hot food in timely manner plus the music was fun and interesting. “Last summer we stopped a Mission BBQ in Chattanooga on the recommendation of friend that lives there. It was soooooo good and we have been craving it ever since. On Friday we decided to drive 2.5 hours to this location, from just west of Des Moines, as it is the closest one to us. It was also sooooo good! Staff were great and very attentive!”

The staff are almost always high school kids but they are clean cut and friendly and provide great service.

The ice cream is hands down the best in a large area. You might have to go to Wisconsin to find any better.

And for only 5$ for a family size resealable bag❤️ All of the flavors are amazing. And I’ll be back for another watermelon smoothie. It was so perfect 🤩 If you order the beer cheese, hot sauce, yellow mustard,pepper corn ranch , cinnamon, and Maple & Brown Butter flavors, I’ll buy them all!! “We had Gyro 600-Eldridge for our employee lunch last week. It was marvelous. We ordered two types of gyros and they were filled to the max with meat. We also had the hummus and pita, and at least one of our employees ate a few of those for her lunch the next day. Highly recommend!”

“Portillo’s has a great atmosphere filled with classic signs and neon, very fun and nostalgic. My Big Beef was solid. Service, however, missed the mark; the girl at the counter was rude and acted like she didn’t want to be there. Despite that, the food and vibe still make Portillo’s worth a visit.”

“I cannot recommend Exotic Thai enough... especially for their DELICIOUS red curry (I get mine with chicken), friendly staff, and beautiful setting. Their red curry is comfort food in a bowl, with their M-F lunch special being a perfect portion including soup & salad. Give it a try!”
