4 Best American Restaurants near Dow City

“Since the new owners took over, I've been there 4 times now. Very impressed with the service, staff, and food. The last 2 times have been with my kids. Michael, Jess, Rich, Natasha excellent Service. But Rachel is killing it in the kitchen! Place is usually packed, not long wait time, food is excellent, staff is extremely friendly and service is excellent. If you're 45-60 minutes from Dow City, a must try! The Sirloin is my favorite. Lot of good places in western Iowa, but feel blessed to have this 8 miles from home. Thank you to everyone that works hard to deliver a very pleasant experience at this establishment. Highly recommend!!!“

“Friendly helpful servers, extensive menu, the best tenderloin in Iowa once again, and a very good fish sandwich as well. We went midweek at about 11:30 and it filled up quickly, although the turnover allowed almost everyone to be seated upon entry. I want to return to try the chicken sandwich and hamburger because given the quality of the tenderloin and fish I suspect they also do very well with those others as well. I do recommend the Dunlap Dairy Sweet and we hope to be back soon.“

“A favorite since my childhood. My Mom always loved to eat here, especially the super nachos or the chicken sandwich with cheese balls. I enjoy the hot beef, most of the time.So many good memories here and now I can make them with my kids. They love the pancakes!“
