“I tried Taste of Heaven for the first time at the Nebraska Enterprise Fund's Juneteenth celebration. I had the catfish and it was wonderful! Some else had catfish and ribs and said they were both great. After you order they give you "pager" the lights up when your food is ready. That was great as I was able to walk around and enjoy the event while waiting.“

“I would like to thank Block 16 for helping my unintentional bulking phase that lasted for 2 years when I lived downtown. This unique spot was my go-to for lunch and dinner whenever I was feeling too lazy to cook at my apartment. Beware - If you follow them on social media the temptation to head over will overwhelm you as they post their new food creations throughout the week. Some of the food posts seem like they are concocted by a mad scientist, other limited time menu items are staples in the food world, but just done better. The common theme here is everything I have ever ordered is top notch. Block 16 is one of the more unique places to eat in Omaha, and anytime I have friends from out of town ask for a recommendation, I point them this direction as a downtown option. Block 16 isn't scared to bend the rules of what french fries should be topped with and they certainly don't worry about the logistics of stuffing a full entree into a sandwich. They are lovers of food and their menu that varies throughout the month reflects that. They have some staple items that are always available but there are new things to try out almost every time you go. The only thing I could give some criticism on is dining-in can be a little tough sometimes with their setup but this is more due to the popularity of the place and limited dining space. But let's be honest, you go here for the food, not the tables.“

“We had our rehearsal dinner at Jams Old Market in downtown Omaha. We were able to rent the Loft 204 upstairs for our event. My husband and I loved the venue from the very beginning! The exposed brick walls, the privacy for our event, and the ability to see where we got engaged were all big aspects we were looking for! The bartender was amazing. The food was even better! It truly felt like a dream come true from the moment we walked through the door. Jams was accommodating for our littles and provide our family with a delicious meal the night before our wedding day. Tonight was great, Hailey stayed open for us so that we could stay and watch Iowa State Play. The outcome wan't the best but, once a fan, always a fan. “Great food and atmosphere but needs work on handling large crowds for events. Tonight my fiance and I had a wild experience lol. Arrived knowing we would wait, was quoted 30 min to 1 hour. Agreed and took a seat at the bar for drinks, table was available within the 30 min time frame which was great. Was seated and didn’t see a server for 35 minutes, we expected a wait and wasn’t too bothered at this point over it. Once the server came over to us he said he thought we were being taken care of already since I had a drink from the bar. We brushed it off and placed our drinks and food order at that time. My food came out within 5 minutes and we were pretty stunned with how quick that came considering how packed it was. Now, after 10 min of him not getting his order and we also didn’t have our drinks we looked around to find someone to ask. I called out to the server and the manager several times, but didn’t succeed in grabbing their attention and fiance didn’t want me to get up and find someone. 40 minutes after my food arrived the server came up to us and I asked about his food and our drinks. I said well just take our bill and a to go box for mine. He did bring out my fiancés order and removed it from the bill. We understand it’s not entirely the servers fault but overall we were pretty bummed since we do enjoy this spot for the atmosphere and the food has always been good. A few other tables also were saying they had similar experiences tonight and also just wanted their bills as well.“

“Came to Omaha for a conference and it was within walking distance to my hotel. The bartender recommended a good beer 🍺 and the Tipsy Cuban sandwich 🥪 which were both good. Nice local pub to get a burger and a beer.“

“I would like to get busy a thumbs up 110% went there on Valentine's Day night they texted me I came back after I was there and couldn't get in I sat next to a wonderful absolutely wonderful girl named Allie we talked for hours and give me a ride home and I just had the most wonderful time for being a Valentine's Day and not having a boyfriend I didn't need one I don't need one but I made a new friend named Allie from Beatrice and I am so pleased and happy for that and hopefully things will pan out as friendship can subside and thank you busy for everything you have done and do for me when I do come there I really appreciate it and I tried to put good reviews for you guys anything I could do for you you tell me and vice versa thank you again“

“I don’t know how I went 26 years living in Omaha and only now did I make my way to Harold’s. I have been majorly missing out. Everything on the menu is amazing, especially the chorizo, pancakes and eggs. I have to go back for a donut very soon. The price is also totally affordable! “Came into town for the Omaha Zoo and looked up places with karaoke and Kikkers popped up! Darts boards, Touchtunes (before karaoke), pool tables and cheap drinks and slot machines! My server seemed to be really off, she fumbled her words, had a hard time answering my questions, (maybe she was nervous) etc. I ordered a martini but she brought me something terrible in a rocks glass! We ordered, the salad bar was amazing!!! Fresh and had several choices. Our meal was another story, our waitress got our order wrong. I wanted chicken parmigiana and I got a sandwich?! She did get it corrected but I had to wait longer. At the end of our meal the manager trish came over to offer apologies. She also brought me the martini I originally asked for that she said she made herself. Awesome!! It was delicious!! She was friendly, chatted with us for a moment and deliver our bill. She didn’t even charge me for the drink! We noticed her guiding our server who was then having issues at another table. I would say we won’t be back but Trish really helped turned our opinion around! She’s definitely a manager who cares! We will give it another try and hopefully just get a more proficient server!“

“Today was our 4th trip to Culvers. The meal we had was delicious. They have the softest pretzels and hot cheese I have ever had. I was really disappointed though with the raspberry malt. it looked like a chocolate malt instead of a raspberry one. I took a swallow and got a big mouth full of malt flavor. topped off with big chunks of raspberry. it might have been good if it was one of the cement drinks. I called back and told the worker what had happened, he said bring it back and we'll make a new one. Thank you for your kindness sir. I would definitely recommend Culvers to anyone“

“This is the best thing Omaha has going in food. The owner levels the playing field for all food businesses in Omaha to have a chance to grow. Pay is in line with output. Every ethnicity of food an taste is able to utilize this space and thrive. Kudos Omahas lunches are better because Dandelion is here.“

“great menu but Maddy is the one that rocks the bar and gives the experience! in town for the college world series and our first time. she answered all the questions and did it with a warming attitude. we couldn't have asked for more during our meal. she also crushed the service bar and I hope her tip out reflects the effort she puts in. from one bartender to another great job“
