“Energy drink flavors are delicious. The creativity with flavors is always fun. I am a huge fan of their iced bonfire Chai. Drinks are priced well. I've been coming here since they opened and the previous owner was amazing. The new owners' customer service has been outstanding so far. You are doing great. We appreciate you.”

“I've been stopping in maybe once every 2 weeks for about a year now and every single person has been friendly and attentive. I can't comment on anything outside of baked potatoes, but those have all been great. Not a single issue so far. I also have to imagine with people this friendly that if there ever was an issue, they'd be willing to fix it.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free? Stick with the baked potatoes. While I miss the waffle fries with cheese, the same frying oil is used for cheese curds, so this would introduce cross-contamination to the fries. The chips used for the tato taco seem to be safe as well, but please use your own judgement.”

“My husband, David, and I love their food! He tells everyone he knows that they're the best beef burritos in Iowa. I agree! The employees were awesome and friendly. We visited in July 2024 and definitely will be back. It's already on David's hunting trip itinerary😃!”

“After ordering over 150 wings in a month, I can't say how good their plain wings taste.They have a smokiness like being cooked over a charcoal BBQ.Add Buffalo hot dipping sauce and ranch, perfection.”

“I frequently use the drive thru to get sweet teas,Especially in the morning. The staff is the best. From the friendly greeting at the pay window from a young gentleman, to another friendly greeting with a wonderful smile to greet me at the pick-up window, and from not just one staff person, but several. Asking how I am,was there anything else I might need,such as napkins or straws,to complimenting me and telling me to have a blessed day. When my young son is with they are sure to say hello and hope he is doing great in school,etc. The morning staff is an asset to this company. I will continue to go to this location just to get this type of service that most food businesses lack today!!!!”

“My husband and I live little over an hour away. We enjoy coming to the quad cities often. We by chance decided to try out Monarch Kitchen + Bar based off of their rating. All I can say is I am so impressed. Impressed with the care and quality of food. The wait staff are amazing. I am a person who doesn’t use seed oils at home. To know I can go out and eat somewhere and know the ingredients are fresh and good for you means everything. We stayed two days and ate there for lunch and came back the next day for dinner. We loved the lo mein and the garlic aioli fries, but honestly everything we tried was amazing. It is now our new favorite restaurant in the quad cities. We will definitely be back and will tell our friends. Thank you for making our trip even more special!”

She is absolutely horrible, if I knew she was going to be my waitress the next time I went I would never go again. I could go into everything that she needs to improve on but not going to waste my time.”

“Last summer we stopped a Mission BBQ in Chattanooga on the recommendation of friend that lives there. It was soooooo good and we have been craving it ever since. On Friday we decided to drive 2.5 hours to this location, from just west of Des Moines, as it is the closest one to us. It was also sooooo good! Staff were great and very attentive!”
