I am treated just like a regular person here, and it's been a while since I've felt that way. Everyone plays along, and respects my privacy.
I have been to a lot of diners, and Tasty Cafe is my favorite. I love the pancakes.“

“My friend and I came out to enjoy a nice evening in the Village and decided to stop by Brew for a bite. We were greeted by a young lady named Kaitlin, who took care of us from start to finish. She was friendly, sharp, and just the right amount of sassy to keep things fun.

She handled our table (and what looked like half the restaurant) with ease — quick, attentive, and on point the whole time. The other staff seemed solid too, but Kaitlin really stood out. She made the experience.

Highly recommend asking for her next time you’re in. We’ll definitely be back.“

“When we were driving through Iowa, we were told we had to have a maid-rite. So we did, this restaurant was in a convenient location for us. We loved the doner atmosphere, and we were surprised they have a lot of different choices. We ordered the Cheese-Rite and the Maid-rite chili shoe. The order came out quick, hot, and tasted good. Next time, I will need to try an appetizer and a shake cause they looked good.“

“The young man working the front is an expert at his job, knew exactly what he was doing and was very kind, we hadnt been to the restaurant before and he gave some great recommendations, he told us there was a secret pizza called “the Hollywood special” we trusted this charismatic young gentleman and it was the best decisions i have made in terms of food, I highly recommend their pizza. my girlfriend had the pasta and it was fantastic you could tell that it was made with fresh ingredients and love, thank you antonellas for everything you did for my taste buds and tummy“

Their egg rolls are actual egg rolls, most Ive received from other restaurants are more like tiny fried spring rolls. We got the dinner for 4 both times and everything has been delicious! I will say the fried rice wasn't the best I've had but not bad. Food is always waiting on me even though I'm there early, staff is always kind and helpful. Can't wait to go back!“

“We love HuHot and have been customers for years. But the Davenport location has been declining recently. Today they sat us at a dirty table. Told them we didn't need rice and they brought it anyway. Had to ask for silverware. The food stations were a mess with food everywhere including all over the floor. The person refilling food was not wearing gloves and using her hands to rake food out of the containers. The grill was good but just overall it feels like it is losing some cleanliness and personality.“

My mom said best hot ham and cheese she ever eaten (she is 74) My husband says the best meatball he has ever eaten (56 years of meatball sandwiches) My grandson loves the spaghetti and trust me, he is 6 and does not eat many things. As for me, the gondi is soooooo good. Treat yourself to a piece of baklava while you are there because it is awesome! This is a new regular spot for all of us and we all grew up with Avanti, but I love your food much more. I can not express the friendliness and quality of the food. A wonderful atmosphere!“
