“I’m always looking for a review that actually tells you something. Not just, food was good! Polite staff… you know what I mean…. So, here we go.We were greeted when we walked in the door! Wow! Friendly and very attentive staff. They have a good selection of beer on tap including IPA’s. Nice and cold in a chilled true pint. Bravo! We ordered the “All you can eat shrimp” and Tenderloin. The shrimp is butterflied and nicely breaded. Comes with fries and coleslaw. I try to stay away from fried food, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not greasy at all. The shrimp was perfect. Flavor, texture and presentation. They serve in tin pie plates, which I found as a nice change from the typical plastic baskets with a paper liner beneath. My husband ordered the tenderloin. In his opinion, the best he’s had anywhere (with the exception of my own hand breaded pork loin)… The service was exceptional. Skylar was prompt in seeing that our drinks were filled and the shrimp kept a coming. We left, comfortably full. And not to forget…Karaoke every other Friday with Mike! And he starts up at 7pm. We will definitely go back. Odie’s is easy to find and only about 10-15 minutes from Cedar Rapids.Parking: There is parking right in front on both sides of the street. Pretty much like any small town bar and grill.“

“Loved this place, it’s funky enough to make a west coast hipster blush. The coolest location that’s kind of in a neighborhood kind of in the shadows if downtown Cedar Rapids and on the outskirts of the new Big Grove and Pickle Palace tourist traps sits this authentic, homegrown funky spot. The patio and and fire pits are to die for. The bar makes one want to belly up and drink the day away like a cowboy fresh of the trail. Keep it local LPSF!“

“Went on a date night to try somewhere new. Our server was so nice and informative about the menu. Both tried two of the burgers and were happy and went home full. Loved that you could pick salad, fries, or soup of the day for the side. Will 100% go again and recommend to everybody. ❤️“

“Had breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly. Their cocktail menu looked amazing, gonna be back to try that apple old fashioned. Service was wonderful. My buddy had the sliders and they looked great, so I know what I'm ordering next time!“

“Came in yesterday for breakfast and ordered the "Shipwreck". Came out quick, hot, and all ingredients were fresh! Asked the server who was cooking for us and she said Stephanie.... if she's the one cooking all the time, we will definitely be back!“

“Appetizers were okay. Cheese filled egg rolls.I had a the hot and creamy burger with sriracha bacon and cream cheese. It had a little too much cream cheese for my liking. Sometimes less is more. The burger quality was good. Overall taste okay.My husband had a tenderloin which was dark meat. Very porky, fries were okay, not great and the cider was excellent.The waitress was very excellent, kind, courteous and served with a smile. She tried to leave for the day without collecting her tip. We asked her to come over so that we could tip her and then we also gave a tip to the lady that checked us out.“

“I just moved to Cedar Rapids recently to live on the river and wanted to find a nice spot to eat and have a drink after work, rumors fits the bill perfectly. They have a new food menu with specials that are cost effective and delicious. The chicken sandwich for $8 is a steal because it's massive and comes with fresh veggies. Apple pie shots for $3 are also a delicious no-brainer, definitely found my new neighborhood bar! Silver Fox kitchen staff is friendly and so is the bartender gal. “Pretty solid place for what it is. Beer was cold, staff was great. I can see how parking can be an issue at times, but easy walk from hotel. Pork tenderloin sandwich was very good, but could be excellent by pounding it thin. Just retained too much oil from frying. I'd come back.“

“In Cedar Rapids for business. Found this gem in an industrial park to watch the Iowa game. Menu is more than handhelds and fried barf-ood. Prices were extremely reasonable and portions generous! Salad was a pleasant suprise of spring mix and crunchy mini cucumbers plus other ingredients! Food arrived timely and well prepared. I thoroughly enjoyed the broasted chicken with honey drizzeled roasted brussel sprouts. Our 1/2 order of nachos was delicious and more than enough to share. From salad to nachos all produce was fresh. Clean and pleasant decor. Plenty of TV's to watch Iowa for the win. Server kept us supplied with cold beer! Great, great local pub experience!!!“

“The food was amazing and very attentive to drinks, food and entertainment. With kids aged 6- 12 they were magnificent to attending all needs and requests. It may be a bar and grill, but small family owned. I would refer to this anyone who wants food decently priced and kid friendly.“

“Great place for drinks and karaoke. Just don't show too much enthusiasm for a good song by a good singer. Bartender was not enjoying my whistling. I was threatened with being kicked out immediately. And yes, i whistled once more, but my warning to cover her ears was ignored. I apologized.“
