“I told my 11 year old son to pick a place to eat for our guys day out. He was in the mood for wings and found this place online. We were not disappointed! Both of us loved our wings and onion rings. We enjoyed the atmosphere and our server, Chelsea, did a great job. We will definitely be back next time we are in CR.“

“Came in after a school basketball game to eat and had 2 little kids with us. Staff was extremely friendly and food came out very quick even though they were busy. We were checked on in a timely manner to make sure we were ok and had full drinks. We will definitely be going back when we are in the area.“

“They were very accommodating of my very picky daughter. She got some pancakes and they were not what she was expecting in her 6 year old little mind. They brought her some plain pancakes. The buffet they have is amazing prime rib and so many options and a very reasonable price. The waiter checked on us very often as well. Great food and great service!“

“we sent a cold snowy night in Amana, the Electric Social Club was one of the only things open. Casey the bartender was welcoming and helpful. Great atmosphere, great service, and one of the best Classic Bourbon Old Fashions I have had in a long time. Great Job Casey we will be back - Group of 6 from MN/WI“

“I went here with some friends for a puzzle night and we had a blast. The food was great, the drinks were even better, and the bar owner was a hoot. It may be a limited menu but just get the smash burger and I promise you'll be happy. Yum.
The bar was pretty packed most of the night and there was only one bartender working for a few hours so be realistic about how long it's going to take to get your orders if that's the case. One person can only do so much! Service picked up significantly when the second bartender arrived, too.
The facilities were clean, the acoustics weren't too loud like some dive bars can get, and did I mention the smash burgers? I will definitely be going here again.“
“The BEST tenderloin I've ever had is served here. Good price on food items and drinks. Good service. Pool table is usually free to use, and they have fun events like painting classes or a dj sometimes. Small bar with a good vibe - definitely recommend!“

“So fun! Pretty laid back during the week, then gets busy at the weekend. The owner Kurt, is a long-time bar owner (since '82 I believe), is a very personable guy who knows his industry! He can give tons of historical info on establishments in Cedar Rapids downtown area.“

“Good service... The atmosphere or vibes in there feels a bit ghetto, but I personally dig a more low-key casually dressed place after work on a Friday night. And, obviously, if you like to play pool, this is your spot. They've got several pool tables. Fried bar food will run you roughly $9 regular price before tax. A double shot of Jose Blanco cigar me $6 I believe and a shot of Patron runs $10. I think my margarita cost about $5 or $6 as well. The two lady bartenders were easy to conversate with.. not over the top hyper or snooty. They handled that bar crowd Friday night with ease - just cool, calm, and collected ..no sweat! Pretty good bar tenders, those two knew their stuff & were attentive for the most part. So I personally like their service and staff members are clearly trained well. I prefer the dark sweat your tail off grinding with hot guys all night or a group of your gal pals sort of bar scene, but that's probably because I would choose dressed up over casual and I don't play pool. 🫶“

“Awesome food great timeless appeal! Cedar Rapids oldest bar and a great place to eat. Jeff is a wonderful owner/host and Amy is a delight. The tenderloin is classic, smash burgers are amazing. Beverage selection is wide without the high prices! A must visit place in CR and kid friendly.“

“Italian beef was superb! Next time I would try stuffed pizza, just didn't have time. Stopped thru quick on a road trip and glad we took a chance on this place not knowing anything about it. Great staff, chef came up to us to ask how it was. Melody was our bartender/server and she was amazing!“

“Great venue for bands. Drink prices are reasonable, and the staff were awesome (friendly and accommodating). A welcoming environment for everyone. They hosted a great show for Mercury's Crown & Big Hair Mafia, who both rocked the house. Would definitely come back to see more shows here.“

“This place is a hidden gem! The building is about 150 years old, but the inside is updated and clean. The menu said that the building once housed a saloon and hotel. I had a turkey Reuben and fries that were tasty and reasonably priced. They were selling a lot of pizzas that looked good- maybe next time. I appreciated the relaxed atmosphere. We watched a football game while we ate. I would feel comfortable bringing kids here with me.“
