“So…. We first experienced Cafe Mir on Taco Tuesday. It was incredible! And we said “we’re coming back once a month and it’s our new spot!” Then we saw the Saturday menu 2 weeks later and we were already breaking our promise — we could not wait a whole month to come back! We were so glad we didn’t wait!! Everything from the hearty and flavorful roasted cauliflower to the rich and fall-off-the-bone duck confit… this was a meal to be remembered and recommended!! I guess we are now regulars after only two meals!”

“We were heading home to NE IA from western Iowa coming through Clear Lake. Googled for restaurants looking for a good pizza joint. They nailed it! My bf & I both loved our individual choices, prices were great, and the main gal behind the counter running the show was a hoot! If we ever come back through, we will definitely stop again!”

“Our food is always good and we enjoy the different choices on the menu, although when prime rib was offered they were almost always out, except one time they just did not have it sliced. I finally did get a serving of it at long last. Have one complaint...the hostess is almost always in the back and people are waiting to pay, sometimes more than one, and there are several waiting to be seated! On our last visit a group of 6 left because they were tired of waiting!! She should be instructed to be out front almost all of the time! However, the wait staff is very friendly. In fact, we have made good friends with one particular waitress, Staci! We usually look forward to eating a Perkin's! One other thing, it is always too cold in there so we must be sure to take a jacket.”

“In town for a business meeting. Met here for dinner - first time here for dinner. What an excellent experience from the moment we walked in the door. First, the interior of the restaurant has an eclectic awesome vibe. Unique and inviting. Tyrell greeted us and seated our party and ultimately Tyrell was also our server. He did an OUTSTANDING job making recommendations from the menu and checked in on us as needed to refresh drinks, etc. The menu offerings are varied and enticing. Our food was excellent. The whole evening was enjoyable with big kudos going to Tyrell and his team. Thank you! We'll be back!”

“This place is an amazing space. Basketball court, pool table, couches, tables, a huge kitchen with a huge island. I hosted my sister's bachelor party here and was pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities and the size.”

“Quick in and out and the gps takes you to 6th ave but don’t go there go to 24th street and you see the docks on ur right side and there’s a small room go inside press the button they’ll come and help reefer on -10”

“Food and drink was pretty pricy. With 3 drinks, 2 entrees, & one appetizer it was $100. However, food was delicious, staff was friendly & attententive. Service was quick even on a busy day. Just wished it was airconditioned!”

“Wow! Incredible customer service. While we were ordering at the kiosk, a sweet man came up and asked if we needed assistance. We declined, and he proceeded to ask if we wanted a glass of water while we waited for our order. 😊 He was keeping his eye on everyone in the restaurant to make sure everyone was very well taken care of. We were super impressed for a fast food restaurant! He held the door open as guests were leaving, cleaned tables immediately. The lady that gave us our order was also very kind and considerate and made eye contact, smiled and told us to have a nice evening. While we were looking for a quick, mediocre experience, this over exceeded our expectations!!! Thank you for going the extra mile! We need more people like YOU!”

“This place is amazing. The ONLY draw back? Only three tables occupied. Had the Pork Chop and the Flat steak, and it was delicious. The Bartender/Waitress, a red head, btw, was super nice to me and my Jack Russell service dog; Murphy. The manager came out and was super sweet. If you're looking fir a home style place to eat and hang out, I recommend highly.”
