Cafes near Hawkeye

“My small town in Wisconsin would be lucky to have a place like Jimmy D's. We traveled to Hawkeye to meet up with a friend from central Iowa and to visit a well-known local plant nursery (a must-see attraction!). Hawkeye is tiny town with a lot of splash of character and local charm and Jimmy D's fit the bill as the perfect place for us to meet for lunch. Service is gracious, welcoming and friendly, the menu is full of all your favorite bar foods and more (we wish we were there for dinner to try the steaks, which others in town raved about), and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed a long visit over burgers and sandwiches. I'd like to come back to see the place when it's hopping with live music. Places like Jimmy D's give real heart and substance to small town living.“
