“Had a great meal today at the AG. I had a pineapple burger and it was excellent. The group of 7 I was with had chicken, burgers and a club along with buffalo chicken dip and spinach dip all was very good and service was outstanding. We will be back“

“Young waiter took our orders and then brought out our food. There was one entree missing and we thought he was just going back there to get it. After about 10 to 15 minutes we stopped another server and asked about our food and they told us that they were out of that particular menu item. All they did was ask us if we wanted to order something else and apologize. Other than that the food was good.“

“The food was great! I recommend the Taco Tuesday taco and fried onion rings. The atmosphere was good but it was so noisy that we couldn't have a normal conversation. We asked the server if she could ask the noisy table to lower their voices and she said she couldn't. I know The Clipper is extremely busy on taco Tuesday and that's fine, customers should be respectful and servers should ask people to lower their voice a few notches if they are disrespectful.“

We ordered a little of everything from the menu and it was all delicious. We will definitely be back again in the future.“

The Hamburger Pizza was ok according to the person that ordered it. The Baked Camarillo was very good.“

“Nick’s is always a win! If you’re there, you are family. The staff truly cares that your experience is spectacular. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is top-notch. Twice a month I meet up with a wonderful friend to sit at the bar, eat some snacks, and enjoy a bourbon or martini while she drinks wine. Even with the rarity of my visits, the bartenders treat me like a regular and work to get to know me. You cannot match the level of service! I typically stay for a short amount of time, eat while I’m there, and also take food home for my high school aged children. The to go food is always perfectly packaged and delicious even if it sits on the counter for a bit while we finish our conversation and settle bills. I cannot recommend Nick’s enough. I almost hate to post this review and ruin the truly beautiful experience.“

Get the burger and fries, hands down the best burger I've had in years and the fries were even better. I believe they cook the fries in animal fat which adds a crispiness like no other. “HyVee is a friendly Midwest grocery store chain. They typically have the freshest produce of anu grocery store, and the best selection. Their focus may not always be on the lowest prices, but they have a better selection and higher quality product than some cheaper stores. They're not overpriced, just maybe not the lowest. “One of my favorite bars in Ankeny! We went there last week and got the cheese curds and buffalo wings...and shocking, they might have been the best wings I have ever had! There was live music which was also awesome. Quick service, kind staff. My husband & I had the best date night there (sat at the bar).“

“Glad the keg cooler was fixed! And that there are new cold keg beer for happy hour 4pm-6pm.

Also glad there are new kitchen staff & the kitchen manager has squashed the rumors of the bar closing. So with more regular cooks & them learning to help bartend, I'd give it another chance.

Hopefully the new district manager follows through as well to try to keep things running smoothly in all aspects of Hy-Vee.“
